This is mostly the reason I don't give two shits about graphics getting any better than they are right now, in order to see any difference between Xbox360 and PS3 you need to have a TV that's twice the price of the two put together.

I have a friend named Nick, and he is such a stuck up bitch when it comes to Graphics. Back when we were Room-mates in High school, he used to sit there and play CoD all day and one of these days, I'm sitting next to him playing Ocarina of Time on an Emulator and he looks over and has a total shitfit. "HOLY FUCK, THAT IS THE WORST FUCKING GAME I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!" He screams into my ear. "WAS IT MADE DURING THE STONE-AGE?!" - My reply is of course; "... No .. It was made in 1998.." And he laughs his ass off. Apparently, he lived in a different 1998 than I did, and Video game graphics in his 1998 were apparently on par with Skyrim. He also complained a lot about the framerate, even though I was running it at, like, 45 FPS, which is pretty good for a 3D Console Emulator.

Your friend is a dumb cunt. Nuff said. I enjoy the new games with the graphics and all, but aren't games supposed to look fake as fuck and cartoony? Stuff like World of Warcraft, and a new game i picked up, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning have some pretty cartoony graphics, but the games are great.

He means well, I think is what it is. He wants people to like him, he wants to help people, but he doesn't know what people respond to. I mean, I remember someone at school hurt themselves ones, and he offered to help, but he didn't know when to stop. She told him no like 18 times, and he kept insisting that he knew First-Aid and he was really good at 'Giving Massages' for that sort of thing. I mean, I suppose there's a chance he was just really eager to help, but in my opinion, it was so obvious and cheap, how he was trying to get in her pants :P

nintendo isn't attempting to compete i think. like, left for dead franchise is almost cartoony. It should have come out for wii because most of thier games are made to look that way.

Cartoony and Realistic are ARTSTYLES, not GRAPHICS you moron, a game can have awesome graphics but keep the style in the Cartoonish sense.
