I'm pretty sure it's Jupiter's south pole, because the red spot(a super storm) is on the lower half of Jupiter

There is no dark side of the moon, really. Matter of fact, it's all dark.

nice PF reference :D
User avatar #54 to #21 - deltadeltadelta (02/25/2012) [-]
Umm, what? No, the moon isn't "all dark". You can see it at night because it's reflecting light from the sun (which it's facing). Because the moon is tidally locked to the Earth (doesn't rotate), we only ever see the same side of the moon. The "dark side" isn't dark at all because does intersect with the sun during its orbit.

"saturn in front of the sun"

the camera would have to be farther away from the sun than saturn is to take that and we don't have any cameras that far away

Holy shit I hope you're trolling... We don't have cameras farther than Saturn? Voyager 1 is leaving heliosphere this year!

The picture of the glowing blue spot on saturn isnt an aurora borealis. Its actually saturns equivalent to the big red spot in that it is a violent storm floating over saturns south pole.
