All of the congress men should care about the 16 year olds, because who can vote in 2 years? the 16 year olds. I know for a fact people on funnyjunk and what eve wont vote for someone who passed sopa.
#348 - autistic (01/21/2012) [-]
Yep this is definitely from homeuax. They knew if they had any hope of defeating SOPA they had to enlist the help of a few thousand 16 year olds. Sounds legit

i really hated the stuff you guys did to PSN! but at least you are trying to help stop SOPA. only reason i am helping support this!
#361 to #337 - chiefstrongbow (01/21/2012) [-]
It wasn't anon that did that to PSN.

Ex-military were trying to steal credit card information from the servers database for personal use. Even anon admitted it wasn't them - which is very unlikely.

you hacked the FBI? you're truly brave people and have earned my respect
#362 to #336 - chasespncr (01/21/2012) [-]
They didn't hack anything, a denial of service attack floods a website with millions of requests for a page. The website is not able to handle the amount of requests and you receive an error. No permanent damage is done. Majorly different from hacking, and it has no real affect on government. This only provides government and media with a reason to point a finger.

Know that feel bro, all these posts redirecting me to other sites in order to "Take up arms against SOPA" just leaves me clueless. I guess I better let the pros handle it
User avatar #347 to #344 - spamalope (01/21/2012) [-]
i visited one of the sites, but i wasnt sure where to post or what the heck was going on.... and why doesn't the government take out any sites like anarchist cookbook.com? why only sites where you can get free stuff
#333 - fefe (01/21/2012) [-]
wait. In the list of supporters for the bill, it says republican/conservative. I live in a very evangelical Midwest town and i'm yet to find a single person that supports it.
User avatar #352 to #333 - durkadurka (01/21/2012) [-]
Whatever site you're looking at is wrong, support and opposition to both bills is as bipartisan as congress has ever been.

This SOPA thing sounds pretty cool.

Not like psn was not hacked for good reasons, it was too easy to hack and too easy for people to get the people who use the networks account numbers and such.
Anon did it because their security was a joke, not to steal anything or piss people off, to make psn update it.
#359 to #328 - fefe (01/21/2012) [-]
Actually, quite a few people had there information stolen. Not all Anons are "good guys".

No, but the biodiversity crisis and the possibility of world war 3 starting are a little bit worrying.
