that little girl most likely had type one diabetes, rather than type two which is prevelant in the elderly and obese. Type one is often called juvenile diabetes, and generally strikes before the age of 20 and is due to genes, rather than age or poor choices. the more you know! ( my elder brother has it and its a hard thing to deal with)

Except that wouldnt work, cause diabetes is caused when your pancreas can't make enough insulin. Injecting someone with blood would probably cause their immune system to detect it as foreign and attack it, making them sick for a little bit

I think it would be because of Wilford's pronunciation of "diabetes" being "dia-bee-tus." Plus, he's also an actor, starring in films such as "The Thing (1980's version)."
