Who would have thought that this guy right here would save the internet? Certainly not me!
I love living in Spain. We went through something similar, but never get anywhere.
(irrelevent) chipmunk family reunion. someone stole the nuts. squirrel jail. justice
Companies distributed the torrent/piracy programs in a grand scheme that adds up to them suing the people who seed and uploaded the content.
These same companies are the ones supporting the SOPA aka Anti Piracy act, which would aid them because it essentially gives them control over most of the internet, not just America as well (apparently).
Point being these companies are as fault into the piracy as anyone else, if not more.

Nothing like youtube or twitter even existed back then.
It rather looks like - they had an idea, they made software, aparently back then everyhting was moving towards total freedom of information. Copyright laws were polished. The distribution programms now seem a bad idea. So they try to stop them.
What's so hard to understand?
As for the dude.. he seems like a psychopath. I guess if he actually tried to clearly state argumetns and show evidence in ~5 minute video, it would be likely some lawyers would look into it. Now it is just like "old Ray willian johnson talking something and mentions cnet a lot ". Serious people don't like this.
The video is specuially made to appeal morons from internet with 5 second attention span.

If the websites that you use everyday is in danger of being shut down because of copyright wouldn't you be a little angry? Everyone has at least used youtube once in their life and same with other websites, and if you think about it, passing this bill will only make the internet community angry and challenge this bill again, and again, and again.
Actually that last statement is completely false, sure I enjoy being on funnyjunk from time to time but I have to work and go to school as well. Plenty of other people in the United States, or anywhere for that matter love to take that leisure time and get a couple laughs or just listen to some music. You cant tell me that you don't care about the internet because it seems that you are using it right now anyway, and no I did not thumb your comment down.
