i forget why, but there is some logic behind the american use of the dd/mm/yyy
Ive never actually understood this, I mean if time is, Second out of minute out of hour, why wouldnt the date be day out of month out of year?

Dude! im the same anon btw, but i live in Willow Grove, or Hatboro, whichever you choose. But i was born in Philly and lived there until i was 12... and im sorry i failed, i havent had a cheesesteak, but ill try one this week! i mean i like steak, and i like cheese! why not?!

What anon means is 12 possible months, then 28, 30, or 31 possible days, then ∞ years. The possibilities are from smallest to largest, not the amount of time each symbolizes. This way the date is most always, smallest (max 12) / middle (max 28, 30, 31) / largest (max ∞).
