I've started to loathe Nick. Mostly due to his new found arrogance on stage, and on Angles(HAS to sing live, and HAS to play lead on every song) It seems to me, as if the thing that's dragging The Strokes apart, are the lacking of a friendship between Nick and Julian.. But I only base this upon seeing them live/internet forums.. I know nothing.

Yeah, I've seen that there wasn't really much of a connection between those two. I think it has to do with Juliet... But I still love them. I've watched them in transit so many times.

I just hope for a 3rd single, so we can get another music video.. Because I really do doubt that the next album, if it comes out, will come as swiftly as Nikolai has sugested it.

Julian said that "I Like the Night", which was featured in that Decibel Fragrance commercial, would come out "soon" and some fans are saying that when they made Angles, they saved their best songs for their next album. But according to Rolling Stones magazine, Angles is said to be their last album. Things are pretty foggy, but I really do hope they'll continue making music. But since they have their wife and kids and shit to take care of (except Fab), maybe they won't do it...

Haha, "I like the night" will never come out.. And saving the best songs? I don't believe that... but, now that they haven't made any b-sides, maybe they saves some songs.. but.. Let's just get some more music.

Hah, those two are easily in my top 5... It's extremely hard to pick just one, because almost every song is fantastic. But, I have favourite perforamnces of almost every song. Hard To Explain live at Jay Leno/The Today Show. Take It Or Leave It live at Letterman/The Late Show. The Modern Age live at Isle of Wright. RIght now, my favourite is What Ever Happened.. But that's surely gonna change next week..

I really like Angles. It's not the same. Which is cool. I've always loved bands that likes to change their sound. WHat did you think about Phrazes, btw?

And I loved Phrazes for the Young! but the idea of Julian going solo wasn't right for me, I love him more when he's with The Strokes. And I didn't really like seeing him play with other people either. But I loved his songs especially 11th dimension. I don't know, I think he fits best with The Strokes.

I actually thought that there where a lot of Strokes fans in the US. I live in a small city(By danish standards it's average, by American standards, it's microscopic) and here's many Strokes fans... But maybe that's just because I affected them all :D

Its not that I didn't give Albert's music a chance its just I never really had the time to check out his solo thing, and I recently started getting into their solos and stuff and I really like Little Joy, they're so happy and free...

I don't know man, I know it sounds cruel, but i have this feeling, that it's him that's breaking the group apart.. And I think it started when Julian made his album, Fab did the Little Joy, Nikolai with Nickel Eye and Alberts solo.. and his solo album never got made, and after that, now he want's to sing live, his position on stage has been changed, so now he stands way more in front, and for himself.. But that's just my theory. :-( But on the positive side, due to you, I've only listened to The Strokes, this whole day! :-D

Well, how old are you? Because(I'm 18 now) I started going to concerts at 15-16(Thougn not the biggest concerts, since I've got a very snobbish musical taste, and The Strokes being, almost, the biggest act, that I'm a fan of) with my friends, which for me seemed quite normal.

Well, I'm 17 and my parents are cheap. I'm attending early college so my schedule is always busy. Yeah, fml lol.
