It didn't seem like a typical creepypasta, the style was just off, it seemed to disjointed, and it just sort of ends with no conclusion (But not in a good way, like it's leaving things open ended, it just seems like they gave up writing). My only guess is that it was written by someone who had probably never read Lovecraft before, but had seen some creepypastas and decided to do one themselves. Not to mention, it just wasn't creepy ("The creature ran down the stairs while my husband and I rushed to help our daughter. She was very badly injured and spoke only once more in her short life. She said "he is the Rake"", I'm sorry, is it possible to not giggle at that?) . It is a fairly interesting idea, it just wasn't very well executed.
