'H2O too' sounds like H2O2, which is hydrogen peroxide, not water. The second man drank it thinking it was water and then died.

I know, but in my country i pronounce that like "Hache dos o too" not "Eich two o too"... I mean, when i read these kind of things i read it in my lenguage.

The chemical H2O2 is a poison, where as H2O is just water.
The second man's order was misinterpreted for the poison as opposed to the water.

Hydrogen Peroxide!

He should have chugged down a class of peroxidases which could have broken it down.

Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is drinkable.... there are actually benefits from drinking it if you know how much and how often.. Sorry for ruining the joke :P
User avatar #58 to #18 - Gebbeth (09/01/2011) [-]
It is not drinkable. Yes, you can swallow small quantities without too great consequences, it is used for inflammation in the mouth, but I wouldn't advise drinking it in any way. It is also used as bleach and it's highly corrosive.

If you leave hydrogen peroxide out and exposed to the air, the bonds will separate and will leave behind just the H2O. Resulting in some slightly funny tasting water.

I use it to gargle in the morning. No burn, germs gone. U mad listerine?
