#88 - tehpwnrer (06/25/2011) [-]

The thing that bothers me is that apparently they're making the water levels easier because they thought they were too hard. I have to agree but I want them to keep things original
User avatar #85 to #82 - Odobisean (06/25/2011) [-]
Water levels are still really hard and forest temple is a lot harder now
User avatar #108 to #85 - problemlol (06/25/2011) [-]

Nintendo didn't remake the game. If you look at the title screen, it says "Codeveloped by GREZZO." And I didn't type it wrong. It was only copyrighted by Nintendo.

Eh, both of those games, while they are classics, are outdated.

I'm at the Spirit Temple now, and am not amused. They game is breezingly easy, and the new ****** inventory screen is annoying. You have two different set-ups for young and old Link, but you have the exact same weapons. And nothing seems "new" except for the Boss Challenges and the Sheikah stones. But what's wrong with the Sheikah stones, is that they are hint givers to players. But the only reason you'd buy Ocarina 3D is if you played Ocarina 64, so hints are superfluous.

TLDR: Just stick with the Master Quest Gamecube game.

Agreeable. But I Still love it.

For reasons I did not purchase just to do the same thing. Master quest Or otherwise. I did not purchase it for making it 'breezingly' easy. The inventory screen is a great annotation to quick equip. And the Sheikah Stones where meant for those new to the series and they just so happen to have a 3DS on hand. Think of the kiddies.

I bought it because of it's beautiful revamp. If you are a Zelda fan you cannot disagree when you enter a house, every single little detail to them. Objects make sense. Most of the Side Characters are clearly visible to who they are. I never knew the beggar had long red hair. I always thought he wore a black hat. and the temples are just gorgeous. If you put headphones in the music is slightly revamped as well.

Goes to show the majority of people really didn't buy it for a challenge or something worthy to announce themselves MLG. They bought it for Nostalgia in a delightful new experience all on it's own.

So there's my two bits about how awesome OoT3D is. I'm still trying to search for a hint on MM3D ;)

>Implying "kiddies" play this over Black Ops, or even know what Zelda is
>Implying the majority of Zelda fans aren't attention-to-detail snobs who complain if the game isn't the EXACT same as it was 13 years ago.

Seriously, people who would normally buy the game hate it because it has updated graphics and new features, but new people hate it because, well, by today's standards, it's kind of a sub-par game. It has extremely limited content (about 4 sidequests total), and if people could see past Nostalgia, they'd see it's sub-par too.
It's jsut that people would never admit that their Nostalgia bias is adding points to how they like the game, and would insist that I'm wrong, even though newer players can easily see my points.

I'm seriously considering buying a ds just for that game, then never playing it again after im done with zelda.

I pre-ordered my 3DS and LoZ 3D months in advance aaaaaand got them both on their respective release dates no problem.

So no, this doesn't go through every gamers mind...just the lazy ones who can't think ahead of time and get pissed when something they could've had paid off is out of stock.

U Mad? I'm loving every minute of it.
#27 to #26 - seratyo (06/25/2011) [-]
Damn you! I would pre-order it before hand but I was unsure whether I would have all my money within the three-day after period...

#28 to #27 - anon (06/25/2011) [-]
If you'd have pre ordered at somewhere like GameStop beforehand (like I did), It would be guaranteed to be there, ESPECIALLY systems...and normally all that's needed as a down payment is $50, $5 for the games...no extra cost, comes right out of the total price.
#30 to #28 - anon (06/25/2011) [-]
To be more specific, if you reserve a system, because of how short the supply is, they HAVE to keep yours there on hand until you pick it up.
#29 to #28 - seratyo (06/25/2011) [-]
Well, I'm british. I do not have Gamestop. But the main problem I had was being sure I had the money in time to buy it.
#31 to #29 - anon (06/25/2011) [-]
You couldn't reserve it at GAME? I lived in Newmarket for about 5 years, and they're about the same thing.
#32 to #31 - seratyo (06/25/2011) [-]
I could reserve, but I'm sayin that the point is I didn't have the moneyat the time, an I wasn't sure if I would have the money then. So I thought no point pre-ordering it if I'm gonna end up not having enough money to buy it...
