True. "...They must also fine him 100 pieces of silver, which he must pay to the woman's father because he publicly accused a virgin of Israel of shameful conduct (sex). The woman will then remain the man's wife, and he may never divorce her." - Deuteronomy 22:19

Your picking out a small set of words. The basic idea behind that law was to protect women from being married just so the man could have sex with her and then divorce her. Read Deuteronomy 22: 13-19, not just one piece of a passage.

"If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives." Deuteronomy 22:28-29

In ancient times, especially in the middle east, getting married and having children was all that mattered, however, if a woman had been raped, and especially if she had an illigitimate child by that rape, no one would want to marry her. That law was intended to fix that problem. Take into the account the whole picture. Women back then didn't want equal rights and to go to college and have a career. Morals and society were different then. It was shameful not to have a family. This ensured that a women who otherwise wouldn't have a family, would. I'm not saying it's fair. Just don't get snippets from some website. Think. Read. Research. Have a nice day.

Sir, I detect major amounts of BS in your comment. For one, no scientist says that matter came from nowhere. Matter does in fact, come from a vacuum out of "nowhere". It comes from a special energy. E=mc2 says that energy can be converted into matter. Also, it's possible that there are infinite universes, so one could have possibly gave birth to ours.

infinite universes is as possible as God, you know why? BECAUSE YOU CAN'T PROVE OR DISPROVE EITHER! Infinite universe theory is ********, don't bring that up if you want to look intelligent on the internet. And E=MC^2 says that when E= 0 (unmoving) that matter also equals 0 as a mathmatical principle. Therefore, the stagnant unmoving matter needed a mover (newtonian theory, every movement needs a mover). So you're in the same hole, SOMETHING had to make it all go into motion, and infinite universe theory isn't a good explanation. Infinite Universe theory is pretty much saying "well, I don't want to believe in God so im going to make up something that is unfounded and say it makes more sense than God." Neither have proof, so1 can't be better

not everything imaginable. It would be everything that could POSSIBLY exist within the laws of physics. Something like a god contadicts those laws and therefore can't exist in any universe governed by them.

if there are infinite universes, they would most likely be created every moment, by every decision made, so everything might be completely different, but if no1 initiated the god (making him a puppet of this person), then the god wouldn't exist anywhere, if you want example how those universes are born, heres an example, you have a gun, and in front of you are a criminal, and a policeman, which one would you shoot, and for every possible choice of action a new universe would be created, countinuing from the action which was chosen, so you could assume, there is infinite universes being created every moment.
so you can't assume, that because there is infinite universes, in some other everything is magically different.

NO they most definitely are NOT. Muslims believe the Christian God was actually Allah, and then they went arry and screwed it all up. Thats why Muslims want to kill Christians, they shamed Allah by calling him a different name (God.) They also believe there is only Allah, not Father, Son, and Spirit all in one. If you say the Muslim god is the same as the Christians in a Muslim country you will be stoned

If I were to say Allah was the same as a Christian god in an extremely Shi'a part of a nation, I would probably get stoned. But if I went to some random Sunni muslim and said the same, I guarantee at least one would say they'd agree.

Down to the basics, they are the same being. One universal and unifying entity that people believe in.

tearing it down to such basics gets you no where. Then you could say that every god is the same God. You can't say this, it would be contradictory. The Koran says Allah rejects all other gods, especially those that are polytheist. Muslims and the Koran say the leading example is the Christian God which believes in the Trinity. Any Muslim purist will tell you the gods are not the same, and if they don't they are denying parts of their own sacred text

Judaism Islam and Christianity all have the same origins - It's the same god in his basic characteristics. The Holy trinity was only introduced during the fourth century. It's not in the old testament at all (I'm not even sure It's in the new). Just compare those three religions with religions from the rest of the world like shinto, Hinduism and any of the classical pantheons. Christianity, Islam and Judaism are much more closely linked than any of the others...

the trinity is a center piece of the Gospel of John. "And the Word was with God and the Word was God, sent to earth for man" thats talking about Jesus who is with and is God. That fourth century stuff is crap. Islam uses the first five books of the Old Testament, but leave out everything else. The "everything else" is the forgiving, loving nature of God that Muslims exclude. They are not the same God and only those ignorant of both religions would say such a thing

Uh? You just admitted that God doesn't exist. The god people believe in is the being that created everything. If there are infinite universes, then there is no God simply because there was nothing that initiated everything. Your logic makes no sense.

The Infinite Universe theory doesn't make sense because it fails its own name, INFINITE. We know this universe is dying, and anything that has an ending point is mathmatically NOT infinite. And any universe exploding into a new universe (i have heard that before, too) is also not infinite because one universe died, therefore that one universe had to have a beginning. That, my friend, fails the defintion of infinity

Actually. I kinda feel the same way about your logic. "Infinite universes. So everything is possible, except for God existing." Maybe it's cause you thought I was a Christian and believed the bible word for word? No I don't believe in the Christian God. I'm agnostic, thinking about becoming a Buddhist. All I'm saying is; you can't prove the bible is true or untrue because you weren't there. And criticizing other peoples' religions from behind a computer screen is kind of cowardly.

Well I'm a Buddhist, so I applaud you for your consideration. But anyway, all I'm saying is that we don't need God to explain anything anymore. We have explanations, you simply have to look for them. The "God" you speak of in the infinite universes, would simply be really smart aliens. If an alien species can create suns and universes, then naturally you'd call them "god". The Bible in fact has the creation of the universe completely wrong. The Bible says the sun came after the Earth, the stars don't create light, plants can live without the sun, etc. The BIBLE is wrong, but you're right, you can't "prove" that God doesn't exist. That also means you can't prove he does either. Just my two cents.

well..if we're going off the Bible as fact (which is an assumption you must make to show all the kills) then death was not even part of humanity until Satan tempted Adam and Eve to sin. So actually, every death ever has to be connected to Satan. Besides, Mao Zedong and Stalin (atheists) killed near that amount themselves, so I don't know if it says much about religion anyways. it just says that people are messed up and we enjoy killing each other off
