I fuking hate this shit. wasnt funnyjunk originally meant to be a website of funny things from all sorts of sites, collected together so people could enjoy a bit of everything> now it's just some whiny site full of thumb whores and reposters, and the community just flips their shit they totally ignore the fact there's quite a bit of 'original' content that they want so badly. Just let it fuking GO. if it gets to the front page and it's a repost, it means people still found it fuking funny.

FJ is a site for sharing funny stuff. It is a single convenient place to find funny internet stuff without having to search it out on every individual website. It is not an OC factory. I want to see stuff like the walrus with the bucket, funny youtube videos, funny 4chan screencaps, funny articles and the like. OC is nice, but we shouldn't get rid of everything that wasn't purely created by FJ users. 90% of FJ content would have to be removed by that standard (and indeed, 90% of censored content).

If an individual expressly demands that their work not be posted then fine, don't post it, but we shouln't stop posting such things as Yahoo Answer fails and funny motivationals that we didn't create but think are worth sharing.
