I know how you feel. With games like Battlefront there's just way too much nostalgia surrounding it for everyone(me included). A BF3 would never live up to it's expectations, that's just how the gaming community is.

Completely right, that's how most games are when they feel pressured by the community to make a game.

It just doesn't live up and it's due to the fact that they themselves didn't even want to make it.

Also hate when game companies make a second game to a GREAT first one just to get money and it sucks.

I also enjoyed Hunt on Hoth. Running around as a Wampa just raping the rebels was one of the funnest things I've ever done.

That motherfuckin' elite pistol was a wreckin machine.

elite rifle was even better. 3 burst, 3 hit kill. I remember running through crowds with that thing and wiping them clean before I had to reload.

I'd also use controllable missiles on XL maps to see how many enemies I can blow away in one explosion :D

No, that's too hard to put together. You don't have some kind of set change between controllers and keyboard, you have to set it every time.

I can't believe they didn't bring back the cloud city platforms map for the sequel, to this day it is still one of my favourite game maps ever.

favorite thing to do was to go through the tunnels in a vehicle...it normally killed me but when it worked it was quite hilarious and did killed quite a few enemies

Bought that on steam recently, used to have a torrented copy because I couldn't afford it... retail copy has so many sound glitches that it's impossible to play the game with sound on, and turning me off from playing it at all -sadface- still an amazing game though

I remember a very strange glitch in that game, as Princess Leia if I shot one of the advanced trooper classes (can't remember which one) it would take 2 shots to kill them... unless I shot them in the balls which was an insta-kill
