Here' s my weapons and gear that

first, that's a tomahawk, not an axe, second, zombies rely on instinct and smell, a gillie suite won't help, lock pick set? or, break a window, or the door, its faster, and less chance of a zombie catching you. bikes are clumsy, you have to stick to flat areas, it would be good if you had a small collapsible bike. no back pack? no guns? whats the silencer for? also, why would you need to film ANYTHING?

repostforlife ONLINE (08/07/2012) [-] no its just common that zombies can't see well due to their eyes glazing over(that's why they are milky in color) which would mean that the stuff inside the eyes that helps see broke down somewhat yet they can hear and hold balance which would mean their eardrums aren't popped and therefore can hear and walk(shamble, whatever)

i love reading 15 year olds talk about how they think they know exactly what is gonna happen and how to deal with it and in reality they are gonna stay in their homes and cry like little bitches

arrows:easily lost or broken lessening the amount that can be reused.
steel toe boots: if you are kicking zombies all hope is lost by now for you
knife: good idea just don't forget a whetstone
hatchet: also decent again don't forget a whetstone
camo: kind of pointless unless you plan on living in forested area
transport: better off staying with the bike as you mentioned
first aid: obvious to bring
lock picks: pointless, you have a hatchet to get through wood doors, behind anything else is bad, mobility is safety
electronics: avoid, finding power sources is unreliable in wide spread attack, use notebooks and pencils/pens to record
water purification: boiling water is also effective meaning less you have to carry on your back
alertness and common sense is all you need instead of bullet proof vest and your guide book

I never really understood the "zombie apocalypse". You're all prepping for a situation based on circumstances you thought up yourself. Nobody knows if, when, what will happen, or how. What if you're prepping in the worst way possible?
