you can be a good person, but if you believe in an unprovable god, your going to look stupid. Im agnostic and believe god is possible. But not any current days relgion. Do yourself some research friend. I dont mean to be a doush but like u seek for everyone to believe in your god, i wish for you to renounce your faith. Now im super serious motherfucka: dont try lieing to me and saying you dont wish for me to believe in your god, either you havent thought about it enough or you want me to believe in your god. Its the last philisophical conclusion a religious person can reach. good day freind :]
As an agnostic, might I point you to godisimaginary.com. It's a place full of thought and wonder about the obvious. Also, r/atheism is an amazing place with ideas from both sides learning ideas. I am wholly atheist because I researched logic ideas and truth through thorough thought. I hope you will do the same and see the fallacy of spirituality. It's still okay to feel good about people or have an intrinsic moral compass, but the problem lies in the idea that any god allows hatred and is completely imagined by people who wanted money, change, or power.

I have a logic. A theory, if you may.
Since I was a kid, I noticed that whenever I masturbated, something bad happens to me, like, something bad would happen after a few minutes, or the next day. It would always happen to me. But I could not keep myself from masturbating, so something bad would always happen.
Then I realized, bad things happen to everyone, even to little girls. And so, I formulated this theory that, everyone masturbates, even little girls, even your little sister.
MINDBLOWN? Anyone?

In most cases, the people around you would understand what you mean. However, you would be laughed at in an intellectual situation because that's not what an informed atheist would say to describe their world view. The proper way to say it would be *a lack of belief in god* and if someone states it the way you did, that's his personal belief, not pertaining to the exact meaning atheism. Again the official definition is: "the rejection of belief in the existence of deities. "
i lol'd @ the "intellectual situation" part :')
alyways, atheism can take more than one form and groups of atheists can form groups which perform similar functions to that of established religions. as long as atheists share beliefs and values with one another then it would be just as appropriate to class atheism as another belief system (whether its conflicting with religion or not)

"i lol'd @ the "intellectual situation" part :') "
I was simply referring to scenarios such as an academic debate, I don't see the issue here.
"alyways, atheism can take more than one form and groups of atheists can form groups which perform similar functions to that of established religions."
Please give me one example.

I've tried to explain this in my past few posts, we don't have ANY values or dogmas. We don't BELIEVE in anything, only a lack of a belief. We reject god on the basis of lack of evidence, we do not assert "there is no god" and we definitely do not say "we certainly believe there is no god." There is nothing more to atheism than this. I don't understand how you're coming up with values or beliefs, as I've said many times before, there aren't any.
