just like #59 says, yes the outcome is predetermined. A lot of the fighting is fake. But they will actually hit each other and throw down each other and actually use harmful submissions too. Sometimes. But you can't say its not true. I mean somebody died in the ring so...

I'm 22, for your information. And yes, it does matter if it is real or not. There is something seriously wrong if one of the oldest sports in existence (in ancient Greece, wrestling was butt naked and with only 2 rules: don't go for the eyes and don't pull his hair (it had an awesome name, but I forgot what it was)) suddenly becomes a show for testosterone-filled men, where other testosterone-filled men act like they're beating eachother up.

It bugs me that these wrestlers don't have any talent (and don't be like:"But they're strong, they worked hard for that!!!!") and still make more than you and me (I'm assuming you're an adult). People constantly complain about singers nowadays not having talent, but still making a shitload of money. Wrestling is the exact same.

Greco-Roman wrestling did not "become" pro wrestling. Two completely different things. Real wrestling still exists, if you haven't noticed. alfjnn was right, it doesn't matter if it's scripted, the point is that it entertains people. And yes they do have talent. They're putting on a show for people while getting hit and slammed around. Think it's easy and doesn't take any talent? Try it for yourself. Just because it's a scripted program doesn't mean it doesn't take talent. That's a very ignorant thing to say.

the wrestling your speaking of still exists its called mma. sure theres a lot more kicking amd punching but its still there. hell me and my friends do submission grappling all the time. the WWE and anything similar are just entertainment who cares if its real or not

Most Fans enjoy it regardless, or else they wouldn't be fans. If you don't like it, don't watching.

Also you're assuming all Wrestling is like WWE, clearly you don't watch enough sports. WWE and TNA are Episodic TV Shows. (Seriously, that's what they're defined as.)

Yeah, it's an olympic sport. Of course I watch that, they might not show too much wrestling on TV here, but I think the Olympic Games are just important enough to be shown.
