"Wouldn't it be great if you could look at their tail and tell their emotions?"

I know right?
because it's not like cat's make a purring sound when they're happy
that's just silly

You do know they don't only purr when happy that's not the point of it they purr when they are also scared and in danger. the Purring also helps build calcium on there bones.

Cat's purring just means they're open to conversation/interaction. Has nothing to do with happiness. That can usually be told by the movement of their ears/the closing of their eyes slowly.

Cat fag here
Cat's purr when frightened, angry, scared, nervous, submitting defeat or content and safe, thankful and even hungry.

Ergo, it's actually hard to figure out why the cat is purring.

You're not a cat fag, because you actually admit that they're hard to figure out. You, sir, are a rational cat lover, and while I still disagree with you dog master race, I think you're contributing to this conversation. Unlike the guy who made the original comment.

Ctas and dogs both outwardly show their emotions, you just have to know how to read them. You can tell a cat's emotions just as easily as a dog's.

Well I don't know which universe you're currently in you snarky cow but in mine cats are devious little pricks that purr whenever they feel any emotion imaginable.

Maybe if you spent a little less time throwing me ******* money and bottles of blue magical **** and observing the environment that you apparently love so much and we wouldn't have to have this talk, now would we?

Cat's also purr when stressed and aggravated.
User avatar #40 to #15 - flamingpie (07/28/2013) [-]
Cats also purr when they are experiencing pain, traumatic events, or when tense. So they're still hard to understand....

You're right, it is hard for retards to understand, Do you have any friends with an IQ over 75 to look after it for you?

And the tip of it's tail will sway slightly to show it is content, it's whole tail will sway to show it is pissed or in hunting mode, it's ears will flatten if it is scared, it's ears will perk up and forward if it is hunting or excited about something, the list goes on...
