As long as we have Meltas we do the trick. But yea, I read a book with Death Korps vs. Necrons.. Necrons barely won, to be honest. The Death Korps were short on men when they came to the planet because they were just in another engagement.

meltas do help. but really? all the books i read with the necrons, they are suprise units in the middle of the battle and the defending force has to evacuate and then i think once they used orbital bombardment. i see necrons usually as a deciding factor in a book haha i think ive seen the death corps book but never bothered to get it, i usually read dark angels

if your into chaos a real good one is actually storm of iron about the iron warriors and also glood gorgons, a rouge chaos space marine group. i assumed an offset of the word bearers since they had a dark apostle and worshiped all the gods :)

I have read that book and it is some of the best fucking reading ever :D

also Battle of the Fang and Rynn's World are both amazing books :) I'm thinking about starting on the "Horus Heresy" series soon

ah yes, i wanted to read those but i have money going other places sadly. but you should also look into reading the book storm of iron, by far one of my favs :)

I might just do that, the books are alot cheaper than the figures, so untill I get a job and can afford them, I might aswell learn the lore :)

actually, if you are bored one day, go to the Warhammer 40k Wiki and read about the lore, I did that a few days ago, very VERY interesting writing, there is some articles that go way back to before the birth of The Emperor and shit, where they actually talk about modern day places, like Asia and South America :)

i have better than that lol you could go to the lexacanium and learn about everything you need to know :)
