Tactical squads 1-5 and the reserve, labeled as such on the pads. I put the more recent, better painted guys in the main squads, and stuck my old crap jobs in the back. I'll be looking back in a year or so thinking all of this looks like crap anyways, so I'll enjoy it while my standards are still low

Chaplains. Still thinking about snagging a terminator one. Middle one's a pretty recent speed-job. Finished him in about an hour and a half. Other two are much older.

Hi again, guys. Finally finished up; this is the culmination of the last year's work. Well, technically 6 years, but only 3 squads and a few HQ's were done more than a year ago. Thanks for the comments and criticism both so far

I'll be working on a combination of Black and Alpha legions next, with the occasional branch off to do some work on my IG, tyranids, daemons and Grey Knights. I'll keep posting here unless thumbs start to indicate that you guys are sick of my crap ;-)

That's a fine blood angels army you have there, but it only saddens me to the fact that I won't be able to amass such a brilliant army in such a short time and with no money.

P.S. are there any tactics to amount a decent army?

And they're not technically blood angels; wanted them to be originally, but decided against it. Kept the color scheme though.

For a decent army, it depends on which one you're shooting for. For Space Marines, a couple of tactical squads (10-20 of the guys wielding the boltguns) and a chaplain or librarian make a pretty good starter.

Been in a relationship with a bigger nerd than I for 3 years in June. It's a hobby, not a way of life; I still work, go out, work out, etc. I just find painting plastic models to be relaxing.

Ohhhhh boy, Blood Angels. Cause ya know, Spesh Mehreens were pretty underpowered without 3+ armor, Furious Charge, and Feel No Pain.

But really, good job getting it all done. I have 12.5k of Tyranids I still haven't painted. Took me 5 years just to pick a ******* color scheme.

It's a smurf successor, actually. I wanted to do blood angels until I realized they don't have thunderfire cannons. Decided against it after that. And thanks! Tyranids and daemons are actually my next big project. I've got about 10k in 'nids that I've forced myself not to start on until after these guys were finished.

Looks sharp. I almost did all black, going for an alien theme, but there'd be no depth at all. Love it though. Toss 'em on a lava-esque death planet and you've got some sexy models there.

Yeaaah I thought of that too, I want Xenomorph Nids but it just wasn't happening...you should post up photos once you got more Nids done, personally I think they're the best looking army when painted well.

Agreed, and I will. For now I've only got a unit of gants and some genestealers done. Hate posting individual photos. I'll get some put up once I can get a decent handful of em together.
