Eldar that are still alive (not the dark eldar) may be arrogant, but they don't intentionally cause strife upon other races unless it is deemed necessary. The reason they seem erratic in their choices is due the the farseers being able to know how to direct their fates so that they continue to live. The eldar vehemently oppose the necrons, tyranids, orks to an extent, and the chaos factions because they are trying to preserve the galaxy.

They may not be Mary-Sue good, but I think that they are the closest.

well all the other races are basicly evil or zealots...not real other options

can you call the empire or the marines good? some times the empire rolled over a faction and they just said hold the fuck up.

I dunno, at least the Imperium is honest about hating everyone not human or Astartes.

Tau go through the dance of "everyone is equal" while they practically make you free labour and only Tau can advance anywhere within the Empire.

The Imperium is pretty much "We hate you, piss off, get subjugated, or die"

Tau is more "Ohhhh we don't hate you at all, sign this contract and ignore the fine print".

i would prefer to remain a Night Lord, find a nightworld to live on, and fight for justice....not the wars of conquest tau fight
