there is still organization. i just don't create a bajillion folders. then i don't remember which one i've looked in or which one has what. different styles of organization.
pros of having a 4k monitor, a few hundred are on the screen when the folder is maximized. no need for **** loads of folders if you can just view thumbnails of them all at once.

I used to do the single folder thing, but once I hit a couple hundred, that **** had to go.

I've collected these over years. Since at least middle school which was around a decade ago for me . I still have a handful of 1024x768 wallpapers that haven't made it through my pruning. Some people amass a collection of my size within a few months. I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying that I'm picky.

yeah for low res it can get difficult. even 1080p gets smooshed.
i've been collecting since 8th grade. that was like 9 years ago. so i guess we're even.
i have a bunch of ********* low res ones too, they actually go great when compiled into squares. try it.

OtisMcWonderful (06/29/2015) [-] It's not too bad once you get used to it. I have fairly specific folder names, so there's little room for error. I also keep a few folders of general stuff, then go through it regularly to see if I've collected enough of a particular type for it to earn its own folder.
