The fuck? You must be taking Grade 8 Latin or something then. In about four years time, you'll be wanting to kill yourself if you're still taking the course, trust me. Latin's probably the toughest course I've taken, and I'm taking Calc BC right now.

You just need to memorize a ton of patterns.

Although on the vocabulary I have a shitty time remembering words and meanings...

Shit lol. I don't understand how you can find Latin easy. Everyone in my class (and by the way my class is full of incredibly smart people almost all of whom have good chances of getting into top Ivy League schools... not that I'm bragging lol) agrees that Latin is the toughest course they're taking. Could just be the teacher though.

Have you memorized all your declensions?

1-3 are down perfectly, have a bit of trouble on 4 and 5 though, I can get about half from each...

And yeah, my teacher is really fucking awesome, he helped write one of the texts he teaches.

Haha nice. I can just usually tell based on the context or the ending. But I haven't really memorized them. How bout your verbs? Those are always tough ones for me (perfect, perfect subjunctive, etc.) so I usually just go with context.

Lol that's awesome. I dunno my teacher's also pretty cool, and she's definitely one of the smartest people I've ever known, but holy fuck does she mark hard as shit. She does things like take off marks if you say something like "the fate for the Roman population" instead of "the fate of the Roman people" just because you're so pressed for time on an exam that you can't think straight. Ah well. Point is I'm kinda hating Latin haha and I'm really damn surprised that you find it easy.

Yeah but it's a crazy amount of patterns because there are those six tenses, but there are also passive and active voices for each of those, and then there are subjunctive, indicative and imperative moods for those 12 patterns. So technically there are 36 patterns to memorize.

Cambridge Latin. I'm finished with all four units now, though, since I'm doing Latin AP now. No textbook anymore. Just Caesar and Vergil, I believe.

Depending how good at Latin you are, I would like to ask you to translate something. I tried translating it myself, but I am horrible with Latin Grammar (and probably was using the wrong words to translate part of it). What I was trying to translate was a poem called "Unlimited Blade Works", from an anime called Fate/Stay Night. Pic related, it is said poem in question.
