Oh shit, I never thought about that... I almost want it to happen now because, like brenton said, that would be some insane foreshadowing. On the other hand though I also want to see Daryl beat the shit out of Merle.

Not to say that both of those things couldn't happen though.

Then Merl is dying on the ground and he congratulates Daryl for finally being better than his bigger brother.

There is no doubt there will be a serious bonding scene between them and the way you say it is basically how I believe it would go (and personally think it should because it'd be a truly amazing scene for these characters)

Through all the faults of Merl I still have respect for him, his main concern is 'is my brother alive and if so, I have to find him at all costs' and I feel as though this will conflict with his debt to the Governor (for saving his life) and his hatred for Rick (for causing him to have to cut off his hand and almost cause his death) to the point in which he will try force Daryl to come with them doing the whole 'I am your big brother you do as I say' Daryl will refuse when he realises this will be the death of his at this point not just his friends but more so his family. There will be this tear-shedding fight of Daryl proving he is not the weak little brother in which he will eventually deliver the killing blow. Merl at this point will then see his faults, and show how proud he is of his brother for his ability to survive and it will be at this point that Daryl, the emotionally detached zombie killing machine will break down and cry over the loss of his brother and what his brother became.

This is how I envision it anyway and I am no writer so I believe whatever I can come up with is nothing compared to what would actually unfold. I am convinced that Daryl will kill Merl. That or Merl comes to their side and kills the Governor but I am more uncertain of this possibility.

You could even call him a Saint of some sort. Perhaps from Boston with his brother...

When Glenn killed that walker with the chair leg, I thought it bit him, going with the whole "someone's gonna lose their hand" thing. Also the episode description for the last episode on my dvr was "A new visitor forces Rick's hand."

I agree with the cliffhangers, that's getting annoying, the whole season no one has accomplished a damn fucking thing.

But Rick going crazy makes sense, Andrea I think is pretty justified in her actions, put yourself in her shoes, not in the shoes of a spectator who knows everything that's going on already, she doesn't know that the governor is a crazy evil fuck, and she has no real reason to think that yet.

Even Michonne shouldn't have known anything until she saw the bullet holes and blood on the military vehicles, before that the factthat she was so suspitious was just shitty writing.

And my biggest problem is that in the comics the governor was an EVIL FUCK, in the show he's been pretty tame and not all too terrible. I mean you ca justify his actions in the show, in the comics you can't, he's just an evil fuck. And they seem to be changing the events of the comic a bit too much for my liking,

The writers of the graphic novels added Woodbury, not the show producers.

I know that, I've read the first 49 issues multiple times.

I was referring to the fact that just as the group was running out of people to kill off, they start interacting with a whole town of people nobody cares about(and will learn to not like) that they can kill off.

It just gets annoying when talking about anything comic related and going "WELL IN THE COMICS" every few seconds.
