i'm from eastern kentucky, i know how to handle myself out in the woods, shot more weapons than probably 80% of the people here, i know how to disasimble quite a few weapons and fully clean them. and i think it's kinda funny how people are like "why dont they go to a military base and get automatic weapons??" well, hurr-motherfucking-durr. an automatic takes mags, you have to load each round one-by-one into the mag and what are you gonna do if you run out of mags but still have a shitton of bullets? you're basically fucked. that's why i will carry a shot-gun and a bolt action. makes sense right?

I live in Soviet Australia, so it's near impossible for anyone here to have a gun, god forbid you want one for self-defence, I mean, it's not like crime is increasing in Australia. I agree, I live somewhat out of town at the moment, but intend on moving further out once I have the money, starting a farm with a small amount of livestock to keep me alive.

also, I'm a gun nut as well. I own about 25 different shotguns, rifles, and a few pistols.

yea but soldiers get their shit before they head out, in other words they have time to prepare, and can get an almost never ending supply of ammo. granted that they have the right supply lines.
mags weigh you down, more ya got, slower you are.
i'll keep a pouch full of probably 20 gauge shells, maybe a 12 gauge. hell, i've got a nice little 16gauge at the house, but ammo is rare. and i'll take my mosin-nagant with a bandolier of stripper clips and free floating ammo.

i hate mosin stripper clips, haha. i load faster one at a time, or by dumping them in thru the bottom of the mag.

I don't know why you're getting thumbed down, but anyways, yeah, mine used to work fine, but my magazine interrupter has worn out, so if i don't load it the right way, the bullets' rims get caught up on each other.

I've been in a situation with more rounds than Mags, just keep the rounds in Bandboilers attatched to some sort of bag :P Besides the idea of a rifle seems safer than a shotgun, why not just take both of them :P
