Okay, i'll just give you a summary
They got attacked when they were at the prison, everybody lost there shit and started running. Attackers opened fired, some of the survivors fought back, but in the end ALOT of them got killed.
You should really read the comics, or just skim through them if you wanna know a full detailed account.

The comics are pretty good in my opinion. I haven't kept up with them recently but they fucked up not staying at the prison as long as they could.

They went messing people in the other camp and Michonne should've killed that bastard for sure. She did cut his ass up pretty damn good though.

Rival city of homicidal survivors raid the prison compound, and basically all the bad characters died. Husband dude(can never remember his name) lives(lost a hand earlier though) as well as carl, the asian scout, the blonde chick who becomes a sniper, and I think like one other guy who later dies I believe.
