Because of Pyramid Head being only of James' subconsciousness, all the lookalikes after that are only referred to as "Boogyman." There is only one PH.
In relation to that, did you see SH: Revelations?

It is by far, the best game I have ever played. You can play the old version which is what everyone will recommend, or you can pick it up in the Silent Hill HD Collection for $30-40 on either 360 or PS3.

Supposedly it's one of the best horror games ever.

He actually is not part of James at all. True he is haunting him because of his Guilt for what he has done. If you play Homecoming, Pyramid head comes after Alex Shepard's father, and has a nice scene of morbidity with him.

That's just Homecoming fucking up for fan-service. It's made extremely clear how Pyramid Head is only seen and will only ever be seen by James in 2. A massive example of this is when James finds Eddie in the exact same building as PH he asks him if he had seen Pyramid Head. Eddie says he hasn't seen him.

The one resembling PH in Homecoming was "Boogyman," the most notable difference is the blade being serrated like his Combat knife.
And as for Eddie...well he's a fat murderous prick who didn't feel like he was the bad guy at all. So he wouldn't see anything.

Eddie isn't a fat murderous prick! He started killing people in disregard for their life, as they disregarded his! He was constantly put down, and at some point he snapped. The first time he snapped he killed a dog, and when the dog stopped barking the silence was deafening. Eddie loved that silence, but before he realized this he had run a long ways away trying to find peace from his deeds. He stumbled into Silent Hill and this dark craving inside of him decided that he wanted more of that silence, so every time someone wasn't nice to him, he would shut them up.. For good.

Eddie didn't see monsters, mannequins, the Pyramid Head; because they weren't part of him, they weren't hiding inside his subconscious waiting to lash out at him. He heard laughter, and constant bullying, and he tried to silence it the only way he knew how.

Homecoming fucked that up. Pyramid Head is very explicitly a part of James' lore and he is mentioned nowhere else in Silent Hill prior to Silent Hill Homecoming. Then all of a sudden he started appearing everywhere.

The only thing mildly related to Pyramid Head is the red pyramid butchers that were part of the native tribe that used to inhabit the grounds of Silent Hill, that would punish the sinners for heir sins. They wore tabbards with red pyramids around their neck.

Pyramid Head is James' butcher, not anyone elses.

Those people that made Homecoming had nothing to do with the original conception of Pyramid Head, Team Silent did, but they disbanded after Silent Hill 3. The only remaining members were some of the art department and Akira Yamaoka, whom abandoned ship after Silent Hill: Shattered Memories was finished.

Those new guys knew, and know, nothing about the lore or anything, they just looked at what people enjoyed in prior games and mashed all that crap together to create a disjointed version of what was something truly special.
