no, I'm salty because fallout 4 is an overrated pile of **** and the perfect personification of what bethesda has become, fallout now is essentially just far cry 4 in a different setting with cosmetic dialog options and more boring scenery.
I've got to agree that they didn't really introduce any revolutional features to the gameplay, nor particularly stunning graphics. It's not bad though. I'm just a little disappointed that other recent games don't get as much credit.
to be honest, Bethesda's fallout games feel more like exaggerated parodies of what an outsider with only vague knowledge of the series thinks the earlier games are like.
It has become mainstream to hate on Fallout 4 in most cases. Although, I actually enjoyed most aspects of the game. The only thing that Fallout 4 lacks is a good story, and dialogue. Bethesda's forte is creating beautiful, expansive worlds for us to explore. Obsidian, the company that created Fallout New Vegas is better with story telling, character development, and dilaogue. For those who claimed they were bored of New Vegas, and that it was buggy as **** you have to realize that Obsidian was only given a year to make New Vegas on Bethesda's old engine while Bethesda took four years to make Fallout 3. I just wish the two could collobrate together on a game allowing Obsidian to do the writing, and story telling aspect and Bethesda on world design. Never going to happen.
Fallout 4's enjoyable moments are almost all just recycled Fallout 3 gameplay elements. Fallout 4's uniqueness in and of itself is pretty **** tbh. Do I still play FO4 after logging a few days worth of hours? Sure, but I would have been just as well off replaying Fallout 3. For this reason I can't say FO4 is anything more than just "good".
Seems more watered down than Fallout 3. Despite the flaws that game had..which were plenty...Fallout 3 at least allowed you options in being good or evil. You could blow up Megaton, convince a suicidal man to do a flip, and of course you had Paradise Falls. Or the complete opposite if you were a good person. Along with the option of being evil, instead of just sarcastic douche bag...there seems to be a lot of adult elements missing in this game that were in the previous older renditions of the game.
How many players?
Platform (I guess PC, but better safe than sorry)?
How much money are you willing to spent?
Genre?
Want coop videogame or just some fun (video)game you can play with friends (aka you want something like L4D or soemthing like 'Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes')
Other than that, if you have 3 friends and want to kill a lot of **** in melee, Vermintide is really, REALLY good and quite hard (on higher difficulties) and rewarding.
I would recommend Torchlight 2. I play it with a friend of mine it's tons of fun. You can play with up to 3 other friends. It's pretty much like Diablo, but it has it's own features to keep it apart. It's a really solid game actually. It's 50% right now. I'm not sure what you consider cheap exactly. To me this game was worth every penny
I've been jobless for a while and my money reserves are wearing thin, so I can't get any AAA games from the last year or two. Still dropped about 70$ on the games, not to mention all that dosh I spent on getting badges.
