I always wonder how I can play through most AAA games without encountering any major or mostly even minor bugs and then there's the internet-hate-train full of videos with gamebreaking bugs.
I had the phantom squad glitch in BF3 on that one particular door, which was ******* hilarious. And I played FO3 and FNV so much that glitches were invariably encountered. Like dead bodies slingshotting around the room and whatnot.
I figured a lot of the game-break videos come from games that haven't been patched yet, usually because they're Day 1 versions that are played as a result of
A: pre-order binging
B: pirated (and not subsequently patched)
Developers can't be assed to make sure they release a finished, bug-free product for some reason (which could very well change thanks to the convenience of Steam refunds, at least for PC) which leads to videos that show the shamefur dispray.
Everyone bitches about this game, but I thought it was fun as **** .
I also NEVER had any bugs like any of these. Not a single one.
There were a couple hitbox issues, like when he's trying to run between the sign and the pole, but other than that, no problems.
Actually, one funny thing is that no matter how fast you're going or what you hit when you jump out of a moving vehicle, you won't die.
Also it seems that nobody in the multiplayer has any idea "The Destroyer" exists. It's a sniper rifle with 2 shots that is a guaranteed kill on any vehicle even if you just graze the bumper. It's funny to see someone try to chase you down, only for you to hit their car once, see them sit in it for a few seconds wondering why the **** their new car just lit on fire, then blowing them up with the grenade launcher. Multiplayer is too easy if you do all that.
Other than those, no issues with the game whatsoever.
I'm with you on that one, man. I thoroughly enjoyed this game on my 360 (because I have wallet malnutrition) and I didn't experience many, if not any bugs or glitches. My only real concern I had was the driving, but after playing it for a while I kinda got used to it. Also, it takes place in Chicago.
In the future, everything can be hacked. Cell phones, computers, road barricades, the laws of physics...there are no limits. Truly a revolutionary game.
Absolutely. I went through horrible cringe inducing phases even typing like that years ago, makes me physically cringe if i read anything I posted back then , luckily i kept most of it to myself and circles of friends, and moved out of that. Yes, I'm a furry, but I'm also a normal person. Whenever I see a furfag shoving it in people's faces and being all "Hai I'm a trigendered wolfkin so kawaii desuuuu~~~ ^_^", it makes me want to tell them to shut the **** up just as much as the next person.
The text on that video is the kind of thing you'd expect to see on a cringe compilation
I too liked Watch Dogs I liked the city atmosphere the most, but the story was meh I liked invading players and hiding, and also basically playing hide and seek with them.
If you fullscreen it, you can see he is shooting people for various reason, most of them seem to be religious, or not hetero-normative sexuality. A few are immigrants, and a few others are social outcast, and one is a 9/11 survivor, and the other is a sponsor to African children. I'm guessing he shoots them because they all not quite up to the government's way of thinking.
It'd be great if some game developers made their game glitchy like crazy, but the explanation for it was that you're living inside a program and there are cyberterrorists ******* with it to threaten the people inside.
Then the main game mechanic is just trying to survive the broken physics, rendering, and clipping issues while fighting enemies and saving people.
interesting concept, and the developers could play with mechanics to make it more or less playable as the game progressed, eventually leading to a hopefully bug-free ending
