I'd play that game.

Can I club someone with my musket?

I know bayonets are for sure a thing, but I don't know about clubbing.

If my musket breaks, I'm clubbing some rebs in the face

Ah yes, the premier 'die slowly and horribly in combat' simulator. Not sure how well this one'll do.

The Revolutionary, Civil War, and to an extent, WW1's trench war, isn't exactly the best setting for FPS games. RTS? Maybe.

Yay I have always wanted to play a game with extremely slow repetitive animations!

Huh. I didn't realize that. So he knows what he's doing then.

Yes, He know Exactly what he is doing, I just hope we are allowed more than 200(the max on warband) Players on a map so we can have even bigger events
User avatar #11 to #10 - macguffin [OP](10/16/2015) [-]
well he said the maps were 4km by 4km so I hope so too. otherwise that might be a little excessive.
User avatar #12 to #11 - pikethepole (10/16/2015) [-]
only a little bit, even with a full server a regiment can spend half the time looking for the enemy on current map size ( I think its 1km x 1km but I might be wrong)

It sounds pun like their won't be any musicians though, so that is kind of too bad.

I knew this had Napoleonic Wars written all over it.

I hope it gets funded so hard.

As of this comment it got 11 268 out of its 70 000 dollar goal. With 29 days to go I doubt there's much of a doubt you will fund it, with more to spare.

Yeah I feel pretty confident, but sometimes these things run out of steam after the first week or so.

Reminds me of the game "Verdun" a bit - But a different setting. I haven't played it in a while, but it was bloody good.

I played a ton of Verdun too. Not really sure why I stopped though. I do know Belgians will be added soon though

Why didn't they just use a revolver mechanism on their main weapon? Why breech loading? Wasn't lever action a thing during 1810s?
And Union, the North, have the industrial advantage against the South, why couldn't they fit most of their troops with revolver mechanism fitted rifles?
User avatar #16 to #14 - macguffin [OP](10/16/2015) [-]
From what I understand they were worried about it being a waste of ammunition and it being more likely to jam, in addition to it being more expensive. But some did have lever and revolver action rifles (cavalry for example) and they became more common by the end of the war.
