On the topic of AAA games
Let's be real for a minute guys
Most of us (myself included) don't like CoD
But It's mainly due to the community and the fact that they're all really similar
But really you can't deny that the games are at least decent.
Responsive, easy on the eyes, the servers aren't bad, etc etc
Also the fact that from a business standpoint CoD is basically jesus christ
It takes them very little money to make a new one (compared to things like the new tombraider) because they re use engines a lot, and like we all know, most of the game is the same

Actually, you might like this format better.

If you want to play Daggerfall just realize that a map the size of georgia that is randomly generated means that the world is bland beyond reason and anything that is there is without order (some of the dungeons have doors that lead into straight brick walls and enemies in the ceilings)

Can someone point out the flaws between some of the COD games and why some are better than the other?

I've played MW2/MW3, and BO1/BO2 and they all seem the same to me.

Man, now I want to play Daggerfall

I don't see how Black Ops 2 was bad, Treyarch, I believe, are WAY better than Infinity Ward. And they also have better ideas on things (and I mostly like them for Zombies).

The E.T. and Pacman games sold
But most of them were returned very quickly, because of how bad they were
Vidya game crash etc etc

Wasn't Daggerfall's map randomly generated though? If so, I'd hardly call that fair.
And isn't Just Cause 2's map bigger?

It had a boundary, and stuff within that boundary was randomly generated.

instead of writing "false" on every myth, op might as well have called the entire post "False Video Game Myths", and about the black ops 2 one, it's a matter of opinion, so how good or how bad games are is not really a myth that can be labeled true or false
User avatar #60 - tabarzins (05/09/2013) [+] (4 replies)
Why do you have to put false after every one if it's titled "Video game Myths" and that you basically have false in every single one.

minecraft has a boundary, it is not infinite it is 60 million by 60 million blocks large.

there used to be this game i played that was set in space and had you fly around in a ship you had to buy, named Freelancer(game was made by microsoft). i do believe that game map was way bigger then 2ce the uk although it might not count because it's in space...
User avatar #166 to #40 - imbartichello (05/10/2013) [-]

So, it's only a rumor right now but Bungies current project game is supposed to span an entire planet. With full access to all areas.
I will post the name of the game when I find it again.
User avatar #15 to #5 - nevrit (05/09/2013) [-]
They haven't quite released the details on how much of the planet you can explore, however you can go off world as well. A lot of the fears about this game will be that it will come out like Mass Effect with its planet explorations. Then again, this is Bungie we are talking about and they are being funded by Activision, so my preorder is secure.
