He's from a Wii JRPG called Xenoblade Chronicles. He's the main protagonist and wields a sword that is literally God which he uses to kill robots for killing his love interest (who becomes robo-goddess), and eventually loses the God sword to God, so he gets help from a God-ier God to defeat the lesser God with his new God God sword and become God so that he can create a world without Gods. it was my 2012 game of the year.
