I recently bought Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen on ps3, which means i can finally delve into the online aspects of the game
hence i want all you DD players to post your psn username, Arisen name and Main Pawn name as a comment, so we can recruit eachother's pawn and join in merry co-operation (the pawn though, not us)
also i really want some rift points please recruit my pawn
my own username is Roderick37, my Arisen's name is Carim, and my pawn's name is Sybil

to all those who are going to buy Dragon's Dogma on pc in january, know that it's the Dark Arisen remaster, hence you will not hear the vanilla game's intro song

Thanks OP for making my life miserable. just loading up my game after not playing for months to find myself stuck in the middle of bitter black isle with no pawns. I've also completely forgotten how to get out and i can't use ferrystones. once i get to a rift stone i'll hire your pawn. my psn is lolkevinlol55 , arisen is dawn and pawn name is zara. my pawn need a little fixing though. her inclinations are out of order so she keeps doing dumb **** like climbing on bosses every chance she gets but runs away from every normal enemy.

fixed her so she should work properly now. shes a lvl 116 socerer. as long as you add me as a friend you won't have to pay any RC to rent my pawn.

she's doing fine, although i was crossing the mine shortcut and her location knowledge made her stand on the pressure pad while the ogre was wailing on the rest of us

cool. that is one of the things with this game that amazes me. the little details. Like how ogres go crazy around women and the shorter your character the greater your chance of dodging enemy attacks. ill hire your pawn soon and kill some post game bosses. that should give you a decent amount of Rift crystals.

i can probably afford pawns up to level 20, just got out of witchwood. i'll be going up steadily though.

That isn't even a necessary part of the game. Just a side area.
So unimportant that I only found it existed after 5 playthroughs and in post-game.

2.you never know who selene is

main story-wise, i just walked into gran soren with the hydra's head. havent been to the pawn guild yet. i just went back and started settling things in cassardis

Ah good luck with the completionist route. ******* hard to do.
Good luck with escort missions as well. If you are escorting that soldier bellend to the shadow fort watch out for the drake. Dw it is only a pointless side mission with **** all rewards.

i dont usually bother too much with bulletin board missions, especially escort missions
escort missions in DD are ******* brutal
no i just dont like being locked out of things
specifically, on my second playthrough, i forgot to go to witchwood and realized i had been locked out of two of the best love interests in the game, and boy i hated that
it's just that the game is fairly short by rpg standard, especially if you only go through the main story - the locations the main story doesnt bring you to are like 60% of the map, hell i was in awe when i found out there's a whole different section of gransys across a mine (wherein the best coats in the game are sold, by the way)

Yeah I know. ******* weird. It was Japan's way of saying "Lets create a western medieval RPG." I take it you like Mercedes? I didn't bother with the romances in this game. Just didn't pull it off like Dragon Age did.
Mercedes is fit as **** btw. Short bob hair, tanned and DAT ACCENT. And of course her "tsundere" attitude. I love that.

eleanor is kind of the only one who shows any affection towards you
i think it's cute
mercedes has a very convoluted questline, and if i'm not mistaken the only way to get her to love you is if you never let her get hit by the black knight, it was tough, so i gave up
but the two i was talking about were quina and selene

i dont know man she was in a much worse situation than the arisen
i mean the duke is kind of ******* and she's a young girl and she has to see him every day
the arisen can cave his skull in any day of the week
honestly i think that turned out okay
well, despite being whipped a bunch
but hey she breaks you out!

I suppose. She still ***** you over though. I remember that pissing me off to no end when I first played it.
Glad all the characters are bisexual though, cos I played all female characters, mostly cos they are designed really well in this game, as opposed to the male.
My main looks like Yuna from FFX. Same sorta hair as Mercedes except it points out rather than in. Dark brown hair. One blue eye and one green. My character looks the bomb.

i once had a character akin to a jrpg protagonist
he didnt look terrible but was pretty out of place with everything else that was going on
honestly, i'm hoping enough people find my pawn attractive that i get to metamorphosis my characters a few times

Yeah I think the outfit I have as a Magick Archer makes my character looks the **** . My pawn is head to toe in Chaos Knight armour as well, with a Gold Forged Ascalon.
I remember the time when you could hire level infinite pawns for no cost. I got a huge guy with a bezel crown and level infinite, quadruple exp all day every day. He looked like big boss as well, which was great.

i'm just sorely disappointed that once the game is over, despite the presence of ng+, you might as well restart
ng+ leaves everything unchanged, which means you're gonna 1-hit everything in your path
if i could just keep my inventory and discipline while resetting my level it would be pretty cool

Yeah I wanted that too. But you have a ******** of Dark Arisen to go through. 2 ******* hard playthroughs of a dungeon about 3 hours long if you speed run it.

Never played that. But you should really try out Bitterblack. Even if you don't like dungeon crawling, it is still great. Hard though.

i only just got the game so i hope this isnt a retarded question but.....i didn't think you could get a pawn higher level than your arisen?
(certainly not 10+ levels at any rate...)

also i may have misremembered the level.
but i'm pretty sure i'm 40-44

i'm currently using lolkevinlol's pawn
she's level 114
you can recruit pawn higher than your level for a rift point price proportional to the exp she has over you
unless they're made by a friend, in that case recruitment is free

You don't need to be online to use a pawn, only to update the pawn stats. right now i'm using OP's pawn to run post game bosses in everfall and bbi . more experience gathered equals more RC for the pawn.

i know a lot of people use two arisen to give themselves rift points
you just have to use different accounts and recruit the pawn from your other one
