Some OC I made in about 4½ hours. Really hope you like it!
(I left out the sprites of the games in which Mario was basically the standard Game & Watch guy.)
Click to see it in full size.
Mario has been spammed, but in different genres with advancing gameplay.
[insert unimportant soldier] has the gameplay mechanics of walk ahead, shoot, trigger cutscene, then repeat. Killer7 wasnt as linear as CoD and it's on rails
they're trying to get at the fact that, regardless of opinion, the gaming community is two faced as **** .
on one side, Nintendo can constantly release Legend of Rehash, Mario Kart 8, the same 'New' Super Mario Bros. over and over and over and over again and again, but there is HARDLY anything different between them, oh, yay, a Mushroom that makes me as big as the screen will allow, oh hey, i'll eat an enemy and become as big as the screen, oh hey let me get a new useless item in this dungeon that is only relevant in this dungeon.
people will eat it up, gaming magazines give it a high ass score, but ohhh nooooo, when it happens to CoD, or Battlefield, or Elder Scrolls, or Assassins Creed, those same people are like ' **** those games, they're the same thing over and over again, I wish they would change it up and actually put some FUN into them, unnngh'.
Ah, **** . If only I could remember my new Steam ID. My gaming PC is downstairs, and I actually just had to create a new Steam ID because I forgot my password to my old one. I'll check what it is tomorrow.
I had the game and watch, It only had one game per system , and it was like one of those counterfeit handheld systems that you can buy on a flea market
that picture is misleading, it makes it seem like it has colors but it was so hard to see unless you're exactly under a light source, it wasn't revolutionary as the game boy.
Yeah but... it just would have been too long. These are already 17 entries. Up until 1993 (I'm working on 1994 at the moment) it's already 15 more games, so 32 altogether. I'm planning on showing all the games up until 2014, so... that compilation would have been WAY too long.
It's just that...
1.) I don't like scrolling endless content myself,
2.) I really wanted to release what I've finished so far to see if people actually like it,
3.) I'm far from finished with the compilation but really wanted to show somebody.
It's actually because in Japan, Mario Bros. 2 wasn't a mario game, but instead a game for a japanese festival. The game is called Doki Doki Panic! and the one with mario in it in Japan is referred to as Super Mario USA
