Nintendo is the master race anyway, they don't need to compete with Xbox/PS.
Xbox/Ps churn out game after game that are essentially the same thing for the past 5 years. Nintendo produces timeless masterpieces that would never get boring.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Fire Emblem Awakening, Kid Icarus Uprising, and Metroid Prime 3 were all pretty masterful to name a few. That and Wii Sports being a complete cultural phenomenon.

despite the "waggle" controls Skyward Sword may not only be one of nintendo's instant classics but definitely one of the best the series has ever produced!

also they are still killing it in the mobile gaming department despite stiff competition from iOS and Android!

"Waggle"

Except that it is actually 1:1 motion controls. It was the Wii version of Twilight Princess that had the "waggle". Skyward Sword was so much better than that in that regard.

I think people just like to complain, personally Skyward Sword is one of my all-time favourite games.

skyward sword was bay far one of the worst zelda games ever, it just seemed like a more pastelly, less story deep twilight princess with actually worse graphics (if you look at a pot in SS you see that they are very polygonal, in TP they`re rather rounded)
then again opinions are illegal on the internet, so i may as well be dead to you

This is exactly my point. They're timeless, regardless of graphics and console generation.
