Been playing violent video games since i was 6. first ones were Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct etc etc...Turned out great! It really does boil down to the parents. Even I had a violent temper ( bullied in elementary school, finally snapped in 5th grade) still managed to become a star athlete in middle and high school, graduated from JROTC at the top of my class in high school, college degree...Honestly, I think a lil bit of violence balances us out...if done right...just a thought

You've actually been convinced that video games cause violence because some politician said so?

No, quite the opposite actually. Anybody with a working brain stem knows that we're violent creatures...its in our nature to destroy ourselves actually (guess its a fail safe God built in). What I'm saying is that violent video games can be beneficial if used "correctly...interpret as you will* Thats just how I used it. Whenever I had a really bad day as kid, or somebody pissed off to the point of violent thoughts, violent games was and still is my therapy. Nothing like popping in Saints Row III and just going on a ******* rampage in a Vtol or whatever until I die...Anger Managed.
