Kind of old but still, bad show EA.

Dude how ******* out of touch are you? First of all, this dumb infographic was made before E3, when a ton of content was shown. No one has confirmed the actual number of maps. There is instant action, they're just not calling it that. No one's said you'll only be able to play as Luke or Vader, they're just the only ones shown so far. AT-AT's are playable, you just don't control movement, which really isn't that different from how it was before, and there's full control of starfighters, with large areas around the map playable for air battles. AI players will be available in (at the very least) both the instant action type game mode and the survival mode. And was the campaign in the old games really that big of a deal at all? It was literally just the same maps as the instant action with a few ****** cutscenes in between. The new one has more variety. The old games were literally just the one type of battle, even the seperate game modes like CTF barely felt any different from the regular mode.

In short, quit being a cunt, and actually do some research on the game rather than just posting some ******** that was made half a year ago that was based entirely on hearsay. Oh and get this: the game isn't even out yet, so you really don't know **** .

The Clone Wars campaigns only worked because it followed a VERY specific Battalion, 501st. Other than that, they don't matter if we have the maps. Especially Mos Eisely.

Also, the first Battlefront had in-atmosphere air battles, which I'm excited for again. People are just buttmad even though they're still going to ******* play it.

It's a real bummer that they're doing exclusive land battles but missing out on the prequel era which had a lot of sweet vehicles for land and air, like the Republic Gunship get ****** CIS scum and the Hailfire Droid tanks.

Look, not trying to say EA isn't a piece of crap, but this whole thing seems a little silly to me. BF2 was made to be a singleplayer/splitscreen, bot-focused shooter. SW:BF is being made to be a multiplayer-focused, player-only shooter. You can debate whether or not that's the best move for the series, but just pointing out how the games are different is silly. They're different because DICE is making them different, just like they said they would from the beginning. Besides, the huge numbers "different unit types/vehicles" being touted for BF2 are quite biased, many of those units were either reskins of one another or only slight variations in damage output/weapon types (for example, the TIE fighter and X-Wing have the exact same weapons, speed, and maneuverability, IIRC).

I loved BF2, but I'm excited to see if the new game works out. Is it different? Yes, but it was made to be different, because DICE knew their expertise was in multiplayer games. They petitioned EA to be allowed to make this game (which wouldn't have happened otherwise). I say give 'em a shot. This whole bandwagon is the same as people doing pre-orders, only the opposite: judging a game based on pre-release material, based on preconceptions and bias, rather than letting the game be released and judging it based on its own merits.

No space battles automatically meant a no buy for me. Everything else just added to that. I'm interested on how it will play out, but I'm not going to be a part of it. Also on the reskins bit, I still want my droids.
