Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. Sauce is Adam Ruins Everything, which is a pretty good show, but it dropped the ball on this one. Sure a few video games are marketed towards a male audience, but the industry doesn't go out of their way to say that women can't enjoy them.
And the kid freaking out in the end was taken out of context. They then went on to say that Animal Crossing: New Leaf was so successful because it was more "gender-neutral" than other games. Even though tons of them give the option to play as a female protagonist.

when it comes to gamers, you shouldnt count mobile games... oh also that "research" is full of bolony. they count people as gamers who played one game just once, even if it was a mobile game guess what, a lot more women play on phones than on consoles or PCs, why do you think they would just start to play console or PC games. if they wanted to, they already would. clearly they dont have such interest... . go back home with that **** .
