If you're into the game, play it, right?

It's a fun game, a little easy though, but I guess that bit is for the experienced gamers, not so much a newbie as yourself. It may seem a little boring at the start because you face mainly wolves and bandits for a time, but once you get out and explore and find quests it becomes pretty awesome.
(Also questions like that are best taken the the games board here on FJ, those guys know their games, and give good descriptive feedback, and rarely will you get a biased answer, if any at all.)

I'm not that new to gaming. Just new to Xbox. I mainly played PC games till it broke. Mainly Portal. LoL WoW ( Never got to into it. Played to level 20 trial) , Minecraft. Dragonage. But I will look into it today. ( I said tomorrow because I didnt know it was 6 AM till I looked out my window/clock) And I only posted on this content because it was Skyrim related. Thanks again. It pretty much sounds like Assassins creed in the beginning. Because it was a bit boring. The story line in AC: Brotherhood is great. I plan on buying the first and the 3rd one next month.

If you really want to get into Elder Scrolls games, meaning playing more than just Skyrim, I would play Oblivion first. Going in reverse order will leave you disappointed.

Both games are great though.

as all popular things are it's over hyped, if you got the option i suggest you get it on PC for the mods otherwise it'll get boring soon

Actually the PS3 is just as bad at running Skyrim as the Xbox 360 is, Xbox has freezing issues with Skyrim whilst the PS3 has texture issues, they are both terrible at running Skyrim compared to PC

Well, if you keep comparing a canoe to a speed boat, of coarse a PC is going to run it better, especially when you payed ten times more for it.

I know. I was just trying to say that none of the consoles run Skyrim perfectly, they all have flaws. still my £150 laptop runs it better than either of my consoles.

playstation has more then 5 glitches and performance issues that keep the game from run as smooth as even the xbox version. All the xbox game breakers got patches. i hate both xbox and ps3, but ps3 is really shitty for skyrim.

Lol no? frame rate drops when the save file gets too big(and by drops i mean 5 fps without stop.) , overheat issues, texture drops, freezes no dlc support. None of this was patched untill about a month ago

Yes but it is patched now. It is at the same stage as the xbox version, they are both shocking!

That has nothing to do with the game, it has to do with how stupidly close you put stuff to the fan.
Texture drops were rare, and it froze once for me.
There was no DLC support until a while ago, and then they gave some of it to us for free.
And as you said, all flaws were patched not too long ago.

The fact is, Skyrim is fine on the PS3, it is just as good on the Xbox 360 but even better on the PC.
