I wish people would actually attempt to find information for themselves before they accept some one elses conclusion.

Why would he leave Nintendo to join EA? makes no sense.

Makes complete sense, he has been working on similar stuff for too long and being the guy he is, probably decided to go for a change, or perhaps build more upon his portfolio

This could go one of two ways:
EA becomes more friendly, their games become more accessible and DLCs are thrown out, or
EA characters get put in the next brawl game. Nothing else.

But honestly I'd love to see Isaac Clarke vs. Kirby

Miyamoto is a ******* Python, i have no doubt that he will infiltrate EA and become a CEO with the next 3 years. Then sell it to Nintendo. He'll be working the long con the entire time.

Ohoho, I can just see it.
"Mr. Miyamoto, good to have you on the team. We're very excited about the first cross platform Zelda game, but Link is just so 1990. The new main character should be a cat. A hilarious cat. Also you need to make it first person, all our best selling games are first person."

Stuff like that happens a bit too often when marketing pokes their dirty noses into the creative process. Remember Blinx?

Miyamato needs to work his way to the top of the company and essentially take over EA if he wants to see anything good out of the job. At least then he'll have the power to clean up the company's act.
