You could try out MechWarrior Online, it's on steam now, hopefully the F2P model doesn't throw you off
Anyways, your battlemech is the "Sagittaire", a 95 ton assault mech with 2 Large Pulse Lasers, 5 medium pulse lasers, a small pulse laser, and an ER PPC, with these powers combined, the sagittaire is a threat at long ranges that can prove to be even more deadly once the gap has been closed.
