Hey everybody, you might have realized i've been giving people battlemechs in the comments section! I do this by finding the battlemech with the name most alike to the user's, if you'd like me to do this for you, simply comment and you'll get to discover a battlemech!
Using my system your mech would be the "Pwwka", the 30 ton light land air 'mech, outfitted with 3 clan medium lasers, the Pwwka's only real success was that it surprised its opponents with what was perceived as "Dead" technology, since land air mech transformations were deemed unsafe, costly, and ineffective.
However your name may leave you wanting, to which i'll let you know about the "Firestarter" 35 ton light battlemech, with 4 flamers, 2 medium lasers, and 2 machine guns, the firestarter excelled at fighting infantry and light armor, but is found lacking in mech on mech combat.
Image on the left is the Pwwka, the right is the Firestarter
Your battlemech is the "Bruin" 80 ton clan assault mech, equipped with a gauss rifle, lrm 10, large pulse laser, 2 er medium lasers, and 2 stream srm 4s, it's a certain party starter at any range of engagement
Your battlemech is the "Blade" 35 ton light mech, armed with a rotary AC/5 and two ER medium lasers while maintaining a running speed of 120 km/h, the blade excels at swarming opponents and fast raids but isn't very durable, since its speed and weaponry is at the cost of precious armor.
so it hits hard, fast, and from out of nowhere, but the action last five seconds? sounds like the sex life of the average funny junker. someone on this site has to have had sex, right?
Nope, your mech is the "Doloire" 80 ton assault mech, utilizing 2 Clan Large Pulse Lasers, a clan gauss rifle, and 2 clan ER medium lasers, the Doloire utilized advanced clan tech to give a deadly edge at long range engagements.

anyways your battlemech is the "Jenner", a 35 ton light mech armed with an srm-4 pack and 4 medium lasers, allowing this quick mech to be a very versatile strike mech. It's also noted as one of the Draconis Combine's signature mechs.
Hell yeah Mechwarrior! Recently played through pirate's moon, I've loved these games since I was a kid. My strategy, strap as many (L)lasers and double heat sinks onto an Atlas as possible and alpha strike. Mech shuts down for half a second then I'm up and firing again.
That reminds me of this! Anyways, your battlemech is the "Sirocco" 95 ton quadrapedal assault mech, with 6 ER medium lasers, 1 Medium Pulse Laser, 2 UAC-10s, and 2 Anti-Personnel Pods, the Sirocco makes the AT-AT look like a failed prototype.
considering the games rather slow progression, as long as you enjoy the mech you got you should be fine, don't forget to get your free premium time if you haven't!mwomercs.com/news/2016/01/1453-subscribe-to-our-email-list-get-7-days-free-active
Your battlemech is also the "Rokurokubi" 35 ton light mech, armed with a Light Autocannon 5 and a sword, it is an effective short range striker, its largest flaw however is its extra-light engine, which means if it loses a torso, the entire mech is destroyed.
Nope, your battlemech is "penetrator" 75 ton heavy mech, armed with 2 ER Large Lasers, 6 Medium Pulse Lasers, and an anti missile system, the penetrator picks at enemies from afar until they can be dispatched with its secondary fire system.
You could try out MechWarrior Online, it's on steam now, hopefully the F2P model doesn't throw you off
Anyways, your battlemech is the "Sagittaire", a 95 ton assault mech with 2 Large Pulse Lasers, 5 medium pulse lasers, a small pulse laser, and an ER PPC, with these powers combined, the sagittaire is a threat at long ranges that can prove to be even more deadly once the gap has been closed.
I'm not sure what you mean by the mechwarrior controller, when I felt the need I used a normal joystick, but anyways, your battlemech is the "Annihilator", one of the iconic 100 ton assault mechs, with 4 LBX AC10s (giant shotguns) and 4 medium pulse lasers, the Annihilator excels at urban combat, which is good, since its paltry top speed makes it more akin to a turret than an actual battlemech.
well i looked it up on amazon, i mean steel batalion was back in the original xbox days so its a tad old, also a launch title (or launch window, too lazy to check)
Sure thing, your mech is the "Dragon Fire" 75 ton heavy mech, armed with an LB-X AC 10, a gauss rifle, a large laser, and 2 medium pulse lasers, this heavy hitter can excels at mid to long range engagements.
Your battlemech is the 75 ton, INNER SPHERE, Thanatos, armed with a 20 pack of medium ranged missiles, and ER large laser, 2 ER medium lasers, a medium pulse laser, a c3 slave, and an ECM suite, the Thanatos is a technological monster that lives up to its name.
Yeah, BT has the sad misfortune of being fairly niche, try conventions around you, my local A-fest has a Battletech group, I don't know why really, but they do
Aw yeah Mechwarrior. Hard to believe it all spawned from a table-top game. I even read a few of the novels back in the day. Good stuff. Didn't Microsoft make MW3 available for free a while back?
Also your mech (based off pizza and not the the) is the "Pitbull" 70 ton MekTek mech featured in the MekTek expansions for MW4: Mercs , this mech technically doesn't exist canonically but is equipped with an LB 20-X, 2 light PPCs, 2 heavy medium lasers, and 2 heavy machine guns, effective at any range, the pitbull is a clan scout through and through.
Sure thing, your mech is the "Notos" 60 ton heavy quadvee battlemech. armed with 5 medium pulse lasers and a targeting computer to help aim them, the notos allows for superior close range support
I prefer the slower western style mechs, its just an air of realism I prefer. Anyways your mech is the "Pulverizer" 90 ton assault mech, armed with 1 Enhanced ER PPC, 2 large lasers, and an LRM 10, the Pulverizer excels at long range engagements, but is sorely lacking when the enemy bridges the gap.
Nope, your battlemech is the classic "Merlin" 60 ton heavy mech. Armed with a single PPC, 2 medium lasers, and lrm 5, a machine gun and a flamer, the merlin stood for a technological advancement, being the only new mech design in over 100 years, ushering a new age of mech combat, even if its weapons loadout left something to be desired.
I'd recommend putting your screen rez down to minimum before launch, if that doesn't work you may have to get a emulator for an older OS. I had to lower my screen rez for Civ 3 to work.
well it also didn't help that when I was rebinding all the controls I found out the game wasn't going to let me use WASD for throttle and turning, so maybe the copy has just aged non-gracefully
Agreed, your mech is the "Cyllaros" quadrapedal mech, a unique mech in that it could transform into a tank, its existence proved confusing and distasteful to the proud warriors of Clan Hell's Horse, the group who created it. At 55 tons and armed with and LRM 15, 2 improved heavy medium lasers, and 2 AP gauss rifles to fight infantry, the Cyllaros featured a two man cockpit that allowed for a more traditional approach for tank piloting.
