As i said on another thread.

I'm happy about the X1, because it will make the original Xbox 360 cheaper.

And i just wanna play Soul Calibur 4 and Dead Space 1...
#100 to #13 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
Why not soul calibur 5?

I've been using PS controllers all my life, and honestly, my hands get cramped when holding xbox controllers. they're just so ******* bulky.

don't get me wrong, I don't give a **** about which is better huehuehuehue, but that's just personal preference and what you're used to.
#19 to #1 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
I have rather large hands. I could probably use the first Xbox controller with ease, so the current one for the 360 and, I'm hoping X1, are extremely comfortable. For me it was always the thumbsticks and recessed triggers-vs-bumpers. PS thumbsticks always seemed too... edgy. It'd hurt the tips of my thumbs after a while. Don't know why.
#109 to #1 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
It really depends on what you are used to using. Being an xbox gamer since 2002, my hands dont feel right holding a playstation controller, I can't even use them right when playing a game. I dont have large hands really, the xbox controller is just what my hands are used to. I cant even play PC games without a controller, anything else but an xbox controller feels awkward to play a game with.
#3 to #1 - doyoulikechorizo (05/22/2013) [-]
Yea same here, been using xbox controllers all of my life now whenever I use a playstation controller I find it impossible because they're so small and awkward.
User avatar #7 - toriofwind (05/22/2013) [-]
I had a PS2 for 10 years and not once did my hands hurt.
User avatar #95 to #7 - zoef (05/23/2013) [-]
i played the PS1&PS2 for years..
my middle fingers are both kind of deformed as i always held them on the back of the controller instead of the L2/R2 button..
also my pointfingers but to a lesser extent..

if i were an american i'd sue them
#46 to #7 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
means that u have small hands
#66 to #46 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
No, it means he doesn't have typical fat amerifag hands
User avatar #71 - pvtgoblin (05/23/2013) [-]
Am I really the only one that thinks the Xbox controller is clunky and uncomfortable? I like the PS one much more. Are my hands broken?
#111 to #71 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
you just have tiny hands bro, no biggie
User avatar #76 to #71 - fjusernumberone (05/23/2013) [-]
I prefer the PS ones as well.
They're nice and slim. Plus the buttons on the Xbox just feel weird to me.
User avatar #79 to #76 - Narwhalsareawesome (05/23/2013) [-]
I dont like the PS ones because i think they are too small and i mash all the buttons at once. Probably because im used to other controls.
User avatar #81 to #79 - fjusernumberone (05/23/2013) [-]
Yea, it's a possibility. It's probably why the Xbox feels weird to me too. Though I used to play it all the time at my bro's place but it never did feel quite right to me.
User avatar #89 to #81 - nyangiraffe (05/23/2013) [-]
That and the Xbox controller was pretty much designed with shooter and racing games in mind, and that is pretty much the only genre of game sold anymore.
User avatar #101 - burnswhenipee (05/23/2013) [-]
I actually like the look of X1, gonna gets it
#52 - Lilstow ONLINE (05/23/2013) [-]
Your hands just hurt if you play something you're not used to.

This thing hurt like a bitch for the first couple of days i used it.

(It's a 17-button gaming mouse)
User avatar #83 to #52 - fxremastered (05/23/2013) [-]
I like the though, but why post such a ****** mouse? I'm using the 2012 naga and it's so bad... I've had it for 7 months and the middle mouse button doesn't work.
User avatar #88 to #52 - basicargentinian (05/23/2013) [-]
what do you need 17 buttons for?
#96 to #88 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
I cant think of any other game than wow, but in wow pvp you'll need around 40-80 buttons
User avatar #123 to #96 - basicargentinian (05/23/2013) [-]
what for? aren't there like 12 spells max?
#93 to #52 - chaossniper (05/23/2013) [-]

Lol Razer, Roccat is clearly superior.

Germany 1. America 0
#4 - solarisofcelestia (05/22/2013) [-]
It looks basically the same. What's uncomfortable about it?
User avatar #115 to #4 - habasparkz (05/23/2013) [-]
I have really big hands and the ps3 controller is very hard for me to hold without breaking it.
#91 to #4 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
too light
#74 to #4 - fcrocker (05/23/2013) [-]
The PS3 controllers were flimsy little bitches, they felt like they would snap in your hands.
Standard rule of thumb, don't use any controller you can't beat a man to death with.
User avatar #5 to #4 - thatguywhohasbacon (05/22/2013) [-]
Mostly the difference is size and control stick placement, it has a much bigger effect than most people realize.
#27 to #5 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
There are ps3 controlers with the same sitck placement as the xbox, I imgine there will be ones for the ps4. My friend had a xbox so I got a second controller for co-op game with the stick/dpad fliped. After that he saved up money bought a ps3 himself and now use the normal controller.

Really its all about playing with the controller for a bit.
#20 to #5 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
because it's not like modding a controller to work on both consoles is hard or anything. Step your game up, use a real excuse next time.
User avatar #64 - lulchux (05/23/2013) [-]
Buy a custom controller.
User avatar #32 - slipknut (05/23/2013) [-]
I think that the new Xbox controller looks aweful..
User avatar #103 to #32 - burnswhenipee (05/23/2013) [-]
On the 360 the 'X' button was placed perfectly because you could just reach over with your thumb and click it. On the X1 it look awkward to get to.

Only thing i dislike about it
User avatar #108 to #32 - reretzu (05/23/2013) [-]
It's basically the same as the 360 one, which was awesome, except with an improved D-pad, better triggers, and compatibility with the kinect.
User avatar #33 to #32 - kyrozor (05/23/2013) [-]
Worse than 360's, still better than PS4's
User avatar #106 - falanvaul (05/23/2013) [-]
... Or you could start investing in a PC... :/
User avatar #113 to #106 - tittystargalactica (05/23/2013) [-]
I don't get why people are going to pay all this money out for a console which is equal* to a decent gaming PC but will be limited and be worse than a PC.

*Equal in such a way as it could play games like BF3 and stuff the same.
User avatar #129 to #113 - falanvaul (05/24/2013) [-]
I can agree with you on that. Even on a ****** laptop I was running Dead Island: Riptide better I ever could on Xbox. With all this **** that they are doing with the Xbox One, No one in their right mind will buy it.
User avatar #118 to #113 - synapse (05/23/2013) [-]
My gaming PC cost around £380 ($570) and it runs BF3 WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than any console as of now.
User avatar #120 to #118 - tittystargalactica (05/23/2013) [-]
I am in a similar situation but the new Xbox will have almost equal specifications to the average gaming PC now.

No idea why people buy the consoles.
User avatar #132 to #120 - lordtakeo (05/30/2013) [-]
Well, Nintendo because of the First party games. And Gameplay that isn't achievable with the PC.

But everything else is better on PC of course. But Personally, I think the games are more important. And Microsoft lacked them.
#105 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
How about you get an xbox style controller for the playstation, i have one...

User avatar #59 - dppwrestler (05/23/2013) [-]
I'm just buying the X1 controller separately so I can use it for emulators. **** buying consoles.

#84 to #82 - John Cena (05/23/2013) [-]
MS is either the biggest in the market, or the faster growing, in every market its in. I think its a good team to stick with .
User avatar #85 to #84 - lethallizzie (05/23/2013) [-]
Just as the title says im getting both anyway... I mean Im done with fighting sides... im just gonna get both and enjoy them both..

can't stand the playstation controller, my thumbs touch and it just drives me crazy
User avatar #40 - blashyrkh (05/23/2013) [-]
I like Xbox controllers, exclusives, online services, and community better.
I don't care if it's always online
I don't care if used games don't work

User avatar #14 - aahrg (05/23/2013) [-]
I'm going to not get either, and upgrade my PC instead, maybe get one or the other a few years down the line, when they are 200-300$, because whatever they are going to cost on release is going to be enough to make my computer far above the specs of the console, and games will be much cheaper (steam seasonal sales, humble bundle, torrents etc)
User avatar #15 to #14 - patrickmiller (05/23/2013) [-]
If I wasn't 16v with no money I'd feel the same way, but as a person with no money a console is a great alternative because it lasts 6-7 years and never needs to be upgraded, however the quality never really increases.
User avatar #18 to #15 - novagodx (05/23/2013) [-]
I am going to buy 5 of them and sell them on ebay and then buy 2 Custom made computers
User avatar #60 to #18 - aahrg (05/23/2013) [-]
why not just take the 2500$ you would spend, and then remake, and just get the computers with that....

User avatar #128 to #60 - novagodx (05/24/2013) [-]
because most likely what happened with the last Xbox will happen with this one, buy them sell them for almost double and just make a bigger profit
#21 to #15 - captnpl (05/23/2013) [-]
Pre-order one or both of the consoles then immediately sell them online for 2-3 times what you paid and use the profits to build a gaming pc. When the first wii came out, people were paying over $1000 on ebay.
