How to survive against tank in BF3

I commend you good sir, I am usually the only person I see placing mines on trails, and seeing how it takes 2 to kill the tank, I can only place on a maximum of 3 trails.

It seems that anytime I mine the crap outta 3 trails, tanks NEVER go down those trails

If you die and none of the mines have gone off then place some near the objective because there are always jackasses who try and charge for it in a humvee. also put about 4 feet between them so that if one gets detonated it will detonate the other, enemies rarely ever see both mines.

Hmm, thank you for the tips, I will use them in an attempt to use the engineer kit to it's full potential, I'm not usually an engineer so I need to work on it.

I've noticed lately I am only able to get mine kills during really long matches.

I suppose placing new ones each spawn will work 100% better than my tactic

always double up because 1 mine disables it as to where 2 mines will destroy the vehicle and insta kill all passengers.

As an engineer... i don't get you. The funniest part is taking your repair tool, run up to an enemy tank (behind at the left) when they then exit to kill you, you repair as much as you can before they see you - Enter the tank and lulz while you kill them with their own tank.

You'd be long gone before he puts anything. That or you will shoot him before he does. Works 80% of the time.

Then always have a secondary Magnum. in case he has C4, you can shoot it to bits.

I always spot tanks before I do anything, I would recommend you also do so, because in that case you will always get a notice if he has C4, because if you spot anywhere near it it shows on your map. Unless you play hardcore mode. Which I do not play anyway. So, always sport before doing anything.

If you did that, you deserve to get a kill if someone steals your goddamn tank.

it also makes one hell of an explosion if the tank dies.

also wworks by switching seats, i only use it when half my team is litterally sitting at the deployment

I have yet to do that lol, I'm too focused on trying to win the game and give my ground troops air support.
