Yes, the new Fall Out looks nice and all though I'm not really interested, BUT a good knight fighting game can get my attention anytime. I would have preferred to only have knights against samurai, though.
Good sequels are fine but what we really need are new IP's, titles that are not building on fan bases and hype culture but succeed through thought and a little courage to fail; something that Ubisoft at least is willing to do even after things like Watch Dogs.
This game definitely has my attention.

tacolishous (06/21/2015) [-] Evolve didn't trick me so another multiplayer based game with limited single player fun and samey gameplay isn't going to this time. I'm reserving my judgement for all the games that were shown at E3 until they come out and I can see someone play them. Except for Fallout 4, because they actually showed what the game is going to look like instead of making a trailer that doesn't look anything like the game (*cough* Colonial Marines and Uncharted *cough*) or a CGI one that might as well be a trailer for a movie (I'm looking at you Knights of the Old Republic) and I want less people to do stuff like that and Nier, because the trailer I saw was was 70% credits to people working on the game and 30% a pan shot on some chick in a gothic lolita dress so she could look into the camera all dramatic like. It was total Japanese pandering and I ain't havin' none of that **** .

tacolishous (06/21/2015) [-] No, the thing is that the For Honor gameplay was pretty. So many other games have released pretty gameplay trailer that looked much better than the game itself. So my logic is that since Fallout didn't look the best then that's what it looks like (why would they release gameplay footage that looked worse than the actual game?) And truthfully I don't have faith in either. I think Fallout 4's going to be buggy to all hell when it's first released like most other games they make. But afterwards I'm going to go on a murderous killing spree with my teddy bear launcher while wearing power armor I took from the corpses of those greedy ass Brotherhood cockbags.

i want to believe in for honor cause it looks great. i know the end result wont be all ubisoft markets it to be, but as long as i can be a knight, i'll be fine.
pretty sure every gamer dispute boils down to a matter of fanboyism to be honest, and i definitely dont consider myself to be free of it

tacolishous (06/21/2015) [-] It's not me expecting them to deliver or not. Truthfully graphics don't really matter all that much to me. What I'm expecting is for both companies to lie to me but for Bethesda to lie less (I'm sure they've released some misinformation for the sake of increasing sales) and what it boils down to is the history of game companies to make a prettier game for the trailer to increase expectations above what they should be. I think it's a nice change of pace for a company to say "This is what you get" and leave less doubt about what the game will actually look like. If For Honor does actually look like that then that's a good thing but in the past game companies have lied about their games and I'm not going to believe anyone until I actually see the game. Well, except Fallout because it really doesn't look as good as most, if not all, games that have just come out or are coming out. Bethesda really don't have the best graphics designers and it kinda saddens me.

lordnerevar ONLINE (06/16/2015) [-] I'll agree that it's the best thing to come from Ubisoft at their e3 presentation, but Wildlands looks like it's gonna be a goddamn blast playing with pals, the stick of truth was fun (not worth so much money, but fun) and I hope the new one will be equally or moreso. I, for one, am also kinda excited for The Division to come out, I was starting to wonder.

i like assassin's creed, but after getting the same thing for five years straight it just doesnt strike me anymore
this on the other hand looks sick as **** , i've been looking for something of the sort for years
chivalry and blade symphony came close but one was too slow and clunky and the other didnt have any large scale battles

As am I. I'm easily entertained, and AC has struck a deep chord with me ever since it began. I don't mind doing the same things over and over because I find those same things so damn fun.

i'm not willing to pay any more than 40 euros for something like that, but ubisoft's gonna price it at 60 dollars for sure, which with import prices would amount to 70 euros or 79 dollars
