Everybody complaining about Nintendo. . WET STILL BON' T IIM" E Mr. Personally I think they need to expand their own games to not be super child friendly anymore, but overall I'd say Nintendo is fine and will be for a long time.

I love my Wii U and my 3DS. Nintendo has always been my favorite gaming company, and always will be. Sure, they milk franchises, but they still remain fun because Nintendo usually knows what to change, what to keep, and what to improve.

I am glad that Nintendo continues to be more kid friendly rather than adult based with their games.

I believe that the company is meant to remain a childhood brand that you can always go back to and think, "Wow, this Zelda game is still fun and even my kid can enjoy it."

Outside of the new Smash Bros I can't think of any good Wii U games. I got Mario Kart 7, played it for a few days when it first came out, got all the gold trophies, then never played it again, so the Wii U version is just... Meh. I used to love Nintendo, but there just isn't anything on the system, for now at least, to make it worth paying all that money for a new console.

What Nintendo needs to do is start acknowledging some money making franchises. Where is the new Metroid? And we haven't seen a new Starfox since the Gamecube.

Well considering the share price is trading at $14.6 I'd say it's pretty obvious that they're not going anywhere anytime soon

When it comes to party games, I think Nintendo is in a far lead, most of their party games are based on a easy level making it possible for anyone to play against each other, while as far as I have experienced on Sony and Microsoft most of their games are hard to get into when you play against someone who has played it a little bit more than you....

IMO when Nintendo releases a game from one of their series such as Zelda and Mario, you know that the game is pretty ******* good usually, unless we're talking about Metroid Other M

I have played both the WiiU and the 3DS, and the 3DS doesn't get nearly as much credit as it deserves. Yes, the WiiU is crap, I can agree with that, but the 3DS is amazing and shouldn't get lumped in with a **** console.

How come there aren't any posts like this crediting the PS4 or Xbone don't know about Xbone too much, but it must have some good games atleast , when they are going through the same injustice as the WiiU is going through, just with the fact that they have third party games. I know that a lot of people have nostalgia boners for Nintendo, but whenever there is a "PS4, Xbone, and WiiU have no games" post, everyone always rushes to the WiiU's side. I think the PS4 has some really good games, even though some are multi platform, and the Xbone has some good stuff going for it. I guess this boils down to, how come when all 3 get **** , people always just rush over to the WiiU's side. Most of the first party stuff is just things that have existed for like 15 years, but when the PS4 or Xbone create a brand new IP, no one bats a ******* eye. I think that the WiiU is a nice product, but too many people are on Nintendo's dick. I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, or a heavily agreed upon opinion, but it is just my two cents (and thousand words)

The main problem with Nintendo is the horrible launch for the Wii U I mean its better now but at launch there was nothing really to encourage buying it and the Wii U itself isn't that impressive although that won't matter if they produce good games
as long as they keep making good games for the Wii U they should be fine

Alright, tell me why they're still losing.

Mainly poor advertising and a lack of any major first-party games at launch along with rocky relationships with third-party devs made worse by the Wii U's unusual architecture making it more difficult to develop for as well as most third-party devs putting out nothing but half-a$$ed ports for the system, meaning that the only things to keep people entertained between major first-party releases are downloadable indie games which don't really appeal to the casual consumer who makes up the majority of console sales. Not to mention that, despite it's massive commercial success, the Wii had almost no worthwhile games for the last couple years of its lifecycle, so Nintendo's home consoles had already slipped out of the public view by the time the Wii U was released. As much as I love the Wii U's unique features, the console probably would be doing better if Nintendo had cooperated with third-party devs and made a more standard entertainment box like Sony or Microsoft.
