here, this is a tutorial I made about a week ago

"Now here's the stuff for making your desktop like Lain's.

This tutorial may seem long, but it is actually really simple.

Set madotate.exe and madotatecfg.exe to your Startup menu.
Run madotatcfg and go to "display" and set the transparency to "medium".
Then go to "hotkey" and go to "swap window effect" to change the hotkey to F11. That way you can choose to set a window to 3D instantly.
Then install Rainmeter, and run it. It will show up on your desktop as some squares with PC information on them. Right click one of them, and click "illustro/clock" to open the skins folder.
Move the two folders(Circle and Circle Theme) to the folder.
Then rightclick on the desktop square again and select "manage skins".
Click "refresh all" on the bottom left of the window.
In the menu above, select "Circle theme" folder.
Then select "main thingie" folder.
Double click "Cpu.ini".
Your theme will load up immediately.
Now your final step; APPLY the supplied image as a wallpaper.
Move all of the desktop UI elements to where you would want them to be, and align the circle ring with the circle on your wallpaper so that it looks like it is part of the background.
Now that you are done, right click on the ring. Select "manage skins", go to "settings" and check the box that says "disable dragging".
AND IT IS DONE. YOUR DESKTOP IS JUST LIKE LAIN'S!
You can choose to enable Speech Recognition which already comes with Windows.
To switch your windows to 3D and back, just say the command "Press F11".

NOTE: the ring will align with your wallpaper better if you have a screen that is 1920x1080 resolution, or 16:10 like mine. If not, that's okay, the alignment is mostly optional.

The tutorial below has absolutely everything you need.
And don't worry, it won't lag your computer. It works on all windows versions.
I tested this on my Acer Transformer t100.

If you want Rainmeter to detect your CPu temperature, just download and run Speedfan off of google. It also lets you manually change your PC fan speed to cool it extra well during heavy gaming.
