thats the battlefield equivalent to quickscoping.
You're still a loser.

Using iron sights is the equivalent to quickscoping? Nah, this is some Enemy At The Gates type ****.

my original comment was because i thought it was a semi auto sniper, not a bolt action.

I've done it with a bolt action. Its fun, but it just feels like I'm using a world war 2 style weapon in a modern era. it feels weird to me.

Just imagine you're the modern equivalent of Simo Häyhä.

I play a lot of Battlefield... BF3 and BAd Company 2... I can't hit anyone without my bullet drop. I can't snipe worth beans in CoD

For example, in Bad Company 2, you take the GOL, 12x scoop, magnum ammo, and pop heads from long range while leading them and compensating for bullet drop. Once you get the hang of it, it's really not that bad. Compared to CoD where there is no bullet drop and you don't have to lead them (same with Halo) I seriously can't get a single hit.

you can't honestly say that it's harder... how can it be easier to shoot someone who is running in a game where you have to guess how much the bullet will drop and fall behind, than in a game where they don't have any of that??

Idk, it just is easier for me. Im a whole lot better at guessing where I need to place my crosshair above and around the target then actually placing it on the person. Maybe the hit boxes are bigger

i played it yesterday. Even at 300 yards its point and shoot. granted there is small minutia drop at high ranges but its nowhere near enough to be considered drop.
It was a failed attempt. I don't count that as bullet drop. Its point and shoot.

at a certain distance the bullet drops, that IS bullet drop

Its the result of a different snippet of code affecting the bullets path.. There is no direct gravity code on the bullet, hence no legitimate bullet drop.
