You should've included how the Xbox got it's name since not too many people seem to know from what I've noticed. Microsoft built the console to demonstrate the Direct-X capabilities in gaming and had originally called it the DirectXbox but was later shortened to Xbox.

I have many fond memories of my Xbox, but not really from many exclusives. Dreamfall, KOTOR, Conker and Jade Empire expanded my dong to infintity and beyond though.

I always really like the Xbox controllers (smaller ones) and Xbox 360 controllers. They really just fit the human hand in a way that Playstation controllers don't. I've always been curious though why the joysticks aren't parallel. I don't mind it, I just don't get the reasoning. Anyone know?

also one of the easiest consoles to soft-mod, allowing for endless gaming possibilities. Playing Road Rash 64 with an xbox controller, however, is a bit challenging to get used to..

Sometimes i feel like the only dude in the world who grew up with Atari Jaguar. And i only had 1 game. Doom. Still remember the cheat codes.

N64 had 4 controller ports too, not that they got used too much unless you had MArio Party, Smash Bros or Goldeneye.

Also, easiest fact: Xbox namesake - DirectX Box, later shortened to Xbox, because it used DirectX drivers.

I'm pretty sure most XBoxes have "made in China" written on it or at least its parts

Just like to add, my dad is a Naval Officer and he used to have to go out to sea in Aircraft Carriers. Nearly every single one he went on, some guys wired their xbox's together from throughout the ship, taping the wires to the walls to make them look "official". As an internet connection is hard to get in the middle of the atlantic, they all ended up using System link.

I remember when we were cleaning a friend's basement, we found an original xbox. One of us hit it with a sledgehammer and the hammer broke. The xbox only had a crack.
