On steam the other day, everything TES was on sale

Morrowind 5€
Oblivion GOTY: 10€
Skyrim legendary: 20€
on top of that, may i add that both Arena AND Daggerfall are 100% completely free downloads from the official elder scrolls website with emulators and everything.

With music from stupidly rich artists, I don't care, but games are different, these people have put years into these games and I personally think that they deserve the money, they really have earned it.

I was using them as an example, but I think that with music and games (good stuff that is), people have put in so much effort and time into creating the best they can, like the production life of Skyrim was 5 years which is a huge amount of time and look at what they have made, one of the best games ever, not something to be pirated.

Oblivion is 100 times better for its Dark Brotherhood quests compared to Skyrims, thats not even mentioning all the other guilds whos quests were super fail in Skyrim and bad ass in Oblivion.

Unplayable how? Cause of a few lag spots and bugs? I spent about 300 hours in Oblivion and never came across a game ending bug, I stopped about 25 hours into Skyrim after blowing through the Mages guild without using magic, non stealthy killing all the randoms for the DB and loling at the Thieves guild.

honestly, i think both morrowind and skyrim were better.
and i'll tell you why. everybody you meet in cyrodiil is really snooty. if you don't level up in a very specific way, you will get raped sideways through a chimney. and the game-play isn't very fun. at least not compared to the other two
User avatar #92 to #90 - Crusader

But that can be said for Skyrim.
The leveling at least, if I go and grind my crafting skills (enchanting alchemy and smithing) which are easiest, but don't work on combat skills, then you get raped sideways, I never really had a problem with Oblivion, the only problem is that there's no sprint, and there is no true crafting.

If you play skyrim however you like, you can always just do the combat skill later to finish up. If you play oblivion however you like and don't grind for those bonus points on level up, you get totally ****** over and the only way to fix it is to cheat or start a new character.

that might be so, but there are so many ways you can go around that in skyrim. like doing a bit of combat in between the other skills. in oblivion though, you can't be a mage. the monsters just get too powerful after a few levels

Filthy casuals. Didn't you know that the first two Elder Scrolls games are now freeware? Bethesda released them online to celebrate the series.

They're glitchy as all ****, though. Without mods, Daggerfall is almost unplayable.
