I REALLY WANT TO KNOW HOW NINTENDO CONVINCED SQUARE TO LET CLOUD IN, SEEING HOW THAT SPECIFIC CHARACTER HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH NINTENDO OUTSIDE OF THE ORIGINAL FFS

EH, I GUESS... JUST GETTING TIRED OF ALL THE SECOND PARTY CHARACTERS GETTING MORE LOVE THAN NINTENDO ORIGINALS LIKE SHANTAE OR GOLDEN SUN... ANY OF THE ORIGINAL 8 FIGHTERS AND/OR THEIR KIDS WOULD HAVE MADE AN EXCELLENT ADDITION TO THE ROSTER.

Well, they were apparently working on this for a while, which means he won't be on the final roster for characters from the Ballot.
